terezi: choke on your pride more than vriska choked on hers. you're better in all ways. >:[

Who: Terezi Pyrope ([livejournal.com profile] redisdelicious) and Vriska Sekret ([livejournal.com profile] thiefoflight)
What: Terezi attempts to make an 4POLOGY. It probably won't go well, though.
When: October 10, 20XX -- shortly after Nepeta's entry here.
Where: Right in front of Room 729.
Rating: PG? Warning for potential potty-mouths?

Terezi knew what she had to do.

Her recent interaction with Nepeta, though short-lived, had solidified her decision. What the blind troll couldn't believe, though, was her determination to actually go forth and carry out what she was planning to do.

Apologize? To Vriska, of all trolls? Terezi would never have seen this coming, especially with the recent events that had happened back at the Veil. After all, it was always Vriska who had to apologize to the other trolls for her behavior, Vriska who consistently did wrong, Vriska who had to be watched.

But for the first time in who-knew-how-long, had Vriska made a genuine attempt to do good? Terezi had plenty of time to consider the more recent events here. Vriska's reaction when she'd returned the box of chalk, Nepeta knowing about the gift... It meant that Vriska had to have been considering this for a while. Vriska had to have asked the catlike troll for her opinion, which meant that Vriska had to have been trying to patch up their relationship and make things "right" again.

If there was one thing Terezi prided herself on, it was her ability to deduce and come to correct conclusions. If there was one thing she now felt slightly foolish about, it was her inability to move past her ego, especially when it came to matters regarding her ex-sister.

With a deep sigh, she swallowed her pride and tapped on Vriska's door twice.

And so she sneered, remembering just how venomous Terezi had been when she arrived. She remembered how she didn't get any better with any of their exchanges over the journal, or in person, and she so believed all the spite and the disdain and how it cut just as deep as her words. And she hated it. She absolutely hated it.

And now? It wasn't fair that Terezi would be able to come out of this looking like the better troll. No way. Fuck that.

Uncertain feelings often turned to resentment. Resentment always turned into anger. Vriska never changed as far as that was concerned.
