Hot springs, heck yeah

What: Recovery at the hot springs, with bonus autumn leaves in the water.
When: Afternoon to evening of today (October 1)
Where: Paradisa Onsen! Bet you didn't even know we had one. It's at the border of the forest.

Okay, so he didn't really need to go to the hot springs after his fight with Tex last night, but with the air finally starting to get a bit of a chill, it was as good a day as any to watch the leaves fall and try to cut down on the stress. Sure, York had it pretty easy here, all thigns considered, but he had a hunch some of his friends could use the hot springs, too--so he'd sent out a quick location ping to the others with the same tracking system in their armor and, hopefully, at least a few of them would show up. Of course, he'd be fine with anyone else as well, but he knew for a fact they could use the relaxing.

Wrapping a towel around his waist securely, York slipped into the mens' side of the hot spring before making his way over to the mixed area.

"All right, all right." York closed his eyes and was silent for a few moments.

"Water ought to help, anyway."

Washington nodded at that. "It definitely does. Well worth the visit."

He grinned a little. "Yeah. Better when there's girls in swimsuits around, though."

Washington snickered. "Didn't you learn from before? Or do you want Tex pissed at you forever."

"Hey, as long as I look but don't touch, she's got nothing."

[dontpatr0nizeme]

Washington couldn't help a smirk at that. "You mean like what happened with me?"

[encryptedlock]

He reddened a little.

"There was touching involved there. If you remember."

[dontpatr0nizeme]

That got a snicker. "I know there was. Was just saying that it was a good example of the opposite of looking."

[encryptedlock]

"Right. Yes."

He coughed a little.

[dontpatr0nizeme]

"Regretting it? I mean, for reasons besides the beating you got."

[encryptedlock]

The black eye was clearly visible in his grin.

"Nope."

[dontpatr0nizeme]

"Good, I guess." He smirked. "Especially as I don't regret it, even if it was painful."

[encryptedlock]

He sputtered a little.

"Painful? What? Come on, I wasn't that bad, was I?"

Washington actually can't help going red a bit. "You weren't the problem."

"Oh."

He was a little red, too - or maybe it was the heat.

"You probably just need to be more relaxed."

[dontpatr0nizeme]

Washington chuckled at that. "Not happening again, York. Trust me on that. So it's not going to come up."

Damn.

"Well, I mean. Even if it's with other people."

[dontpatr0nizeme]

Washington raised an eyebrow at that. "York, I'm not going to risk the kind of pain your girlfriend would give for helping you cheat a second time. Only other person I've slept with here was Kat."

"Doesn't mean there won't be someone else, some time."

And why not? Wash was a good-looking guy if you could get past the asshole demeanor.

"York.... Do you really think anyone is going to bother with me?"

[encryptedlock]

"Why not? You're a good-looking guy, even if you are kind of an asshole."

...Well, nobody ever said York was a good liar, so he tended to stick to the truth.

Washington replied dryly. "Thank you. I really needed that reminder."

[encryptedlock]

York grinned shamelessly. "Well, somebody's got to keep you in your place. Right?"

[dontpatr0nizeme]

Washington grumbled a little. "I think you've done more than enough of that."

[encryptedlock]

"Just imagine how much more D does it to me than any of the rest of you ever get."

Well, not that Delta insulted him cheerfully like York did with Wash, but York was always aware of his capabilities and limitations because of it.
