Sure, why not
Who: Lady kid!Marian and Sir kid!Guy
What: Start of Marian's kid loss and... well, continuation of Guy's kid loss
When: Forward dated to Sunday, after the family therapy loss.
Where: Marian's room and Guy's room for now.
Rating: PG (kids behaving badly, having food fights and more fun than is allowed.)
Marian had missed the kids she and Guy had. She had been sad even since and been laying low, trying to breath in and breath out, while the castle put them all into turmoil, again and again.
Last week, the castle had made her a therapist. Trying to help others was something she always wanted and now the castle repaid her services by making her a kid.
Sure, why not. Why the hell not. Guy was already a kid. Thank you castle. Thank you for taking away something that had begun to make a meaning in her life. Kid or not, Guy obviously didn't love her anymore. So what to do? What would any eight year old kid with buckteeth and a grumpy mood do?
"Castle, give me cookies. Lots and LOTS of cookies! And ice-cream. And candy! All sorts of candy!"
There was wishing. And chocolate. And things loaded with sugar.
((occ: this loss will probably go on the rest of the summer, since I will be away and probably should be on hiatus until the end of August. But this will hopefully be better, even if tagging will be slooooooow.))

Butterflies were swirling in his stomach furiously - he was terrified of what her reaction to his child form might be. He recalled how upset she was when he explained to her of his loss, and how scared of him she'd been when he was turned into a wolf. Would this be any different? he wondered. There was something else, too - the main reason he'd been avoiding her: he was afraid that seeing him as a child might remind her of what they'd lost (after all, as an eight year old, he did favor their son quite a bit.) He knew she was heartbroken over the loss of their twins (he was upset as well,) and he certainly didn't want to make her even more sad than she already was.
Still, he knew he couldn't keep avoiding her forever. He nervously squeezed the bouquet of wild, orange-colored lilies that he'd found growing near the duck pond, and pulled a pretty necklace with a round, blue crystal hanging on a shiny silver chain out of his pocket - a gift for her that he'd bought in the City Royale. He stared at the crystal for a moment, quite taken with how sparkly it was, and quickly prayed that she would like it. He then shoved it back into his pocket and tapped on her door gently.
"Marian?" He squeaked. "Are you there? It's me, Guy."
(ooc: Cookies, candy AND ice cream?! Bästis, we will have two eight year old's swinging from the rafters by the time this is over. LMAO!!!)

[Squeaky kid voice. Runs to door.]

What...? Are those for me, Guy?

Guy stared at the young girl standing before him in utter shock. His mouth hung open slightly, and he cannot quite figure out why this strange girl seems to know his name... Unless...
He took a deep breath, and that's when he smelled it: roses. The young girl smelled of roses, just like...
Oh boy...

He wasn't quite sure what to say to her. He had thought of a few things in the last few weeks, of course: apologies for his distance (and his current form,) proof of his undying love, promises that somehow, he'd find a way to make things better for them. However, the shock of seeing her as a child caused him to suddenly forget all he'd hoped to tell her.
He thrust the flowers towards her and nodded, before reaching into his pocket and pulling out the necklace. He held it up to her and managed to smile.
"This, too."

Surprised, Marian grabs the flowers handed to her. She likes them! Somewhere in her suger-rushed and more and more child like mind is a grown up voice saying 'vase', but before she has time to dwell on it further and all the things her grown up mind wants to bring up with Guy, she sees a charming necklace with a shiny, blue pendant. She squeals in delight.
"For ME!? That too!?"
Her sugar-sticky hand reaches out and she accepts the gift, along with Guy's smile. Far away are the days when she would reserve herself against Guy's generosity. Now, she has the quick surge of happiness that a child has, a child that accepts joy for what it is. She smiles back, showing her buckteeth and dimples, and manages to hold both necklace and flowers in one hand - sticky and wet now - while her free hand grabs Guy's to pull him in.
"Come in and play with me and Wheely! I have lots of candy!"

He would've considered this a bit longer had Marian not dragged him into her room and showed him something... wonderful.
Candy. Lots and lots of candy. And cookies of every shape and size and the biggest bowls of ice cream he'd seen in his eight months in Paradisa. It was glorious - more sweets than he'd ever seen in his life - and deep inside, his child-like urges were practically dancing. Obviously, Marian had been doing a different kind of wishing. Wonderful, awesome, brilliant wishing.
He smiles at her happily, looking at the sweets, then back to her, then at the sweets again.
"Can I... have some?" He asks hopefully.
MOAR CANDYYYYYYYYYY!!!
"As much as you like! But hurry up if you want some ice-cream, because Wheely wants it too!"
Wheely stands beside the giant ice-cream bowl and surreptitiously tries to lick some dripping vanilla, but her enthusiastic slurping reveals her. Marian laughs a happy, high-pitched laughter. There's still that tiny sound of the adult voice trying to be stern and forbidding - this makes kid!Marian whooping with laughter.
"Vase!" she says and there's a pretty vase with water standing in front of her feet, it's got just the right size for the flowers Guy gave her. She lets go of his hands, kneels and puts the flower there. Standing up, she has the vase with the sparkling flowers in one hand and the shiny necklace dangling in the other. Marian herself glows most of all. Suddenly, a new laughter bubbles out of her.
"What if I had wished for Vasey! Hahahahaha!! OHHH!! I must try out the necklace!"
She puts the vase with flowers on a nearby table and runs into the bathroom.
Re: MOAR CANDYYYYYYYYYY!!!
"Can I help you put it on?" He asks, watching her fumble with the clasp...

"Oohhh, clever of you to bring the ice-cream! I want chocolate sauce with mine!"
Marian starts to lift her hair, but it sticks to her hands. She sighs dramatically and washes her hands. Then she turns her back to Guy and lifts the tresses properly.
"Yes, please!"
Oh, this is familiar! Only now... Her heart is warm, she is allowed to enjoy this! She is allowed to allow herself to be with Guy, to be happy because of it.
Re: <3
"There." He says, blushing furiously. "I hope you like it."

"I love it so much! Thank you, Guy! You are my best friend, ever!"
She skips happily to the door. "Ice-cream?"
no subject
She...kissed me. She kissed me? She kissed me! He thinks, his gray eyes growing enormous as his brain finally catches up to the wonderful event that just occurred. How often had he wished and prayed for this very thing to happen years ago - for Marian to readily accept him and be his best friend? And to think all it took was being kidnapped by a magical castle, tormented relentlessly and for both of them to be turned into children...
Maybe this isn't so bad after all... He thinks, as a smile explodes onto his face. Aware that he's still blushing, Guy hangs his head shyly.
"Ice cream with my best friend." He says, nodding. "I'd like that."

He loves me! He still loves me! I'm sure he still loves me! Guuuuuylovesmeee, Guyyyloooovesmeeeee...!
Seeing his discomfort, she says nothing but smilingly, she put the ice-cream bowl in his arms again.
"Come on, Guy!"

Somehow, the jumping seems to make him feel even better - it seems to calm his adult mind a bit. After a moment, he begins to wonder why he ever thought Marian had been mad at or might've hated him. He stops suddenly, staring at Marian curiously before his adult memories return.
He feels a bit weird, but he shakes it off, and he smiles at her again.
"I'll race you to the cookies!" He blurts out suddenly...

Landing again, she's flushed and sees a look fleeting by in Guy's eyes. A thought flies by - why has he avoided her? Then she sees the pendant reaching her to the stomach and what's left of her adult mind realises that he was going to give it to adult Marian, and still wanted to give it to kid!Marian. It's weird and wonderful.
Then she takes advantage of being closest to the door, turns and spurts out of the room towards the suger treasure. Just before she reaches it, she slips and lands - face down in a cake! Looking up, she's got cream all over her face and she's practically screaming with laughter.

"Marian! Are you okaaaaaaaaaaaaaa...."
*THUD*
Guy slips in the same place she did, and lands directly next to her, his own head falling into a large cake with rainbow colored frosting. He quickly sits up in shock, as Wheely trots over and begins to lick the sugary icing off his ear. He begins to laugh uncontrollably, unable to bear the tickling...

"Good dog, Wheely!"
Guy?
Ticklish?
Ticklish?!?
"I'll help you, Wheely!!" she yells and starts to tickle attack Guy from the other side.
