Draco is sat outside the Bonsai, a shot glass of firewhisky on the bench seat beside him and a box of Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans and on the table.

The sun is beaming down on him and the light glints off his sunglasses as he takes another cool sip.

We'd lost our memories so I didn't realise they were mine at first. [Mumbles]

She could only be silent at that, conflicted. She'd always sworn that she wouldn't choose to forget. Her memories were what made her who she was. And she certainly wouldn't choose to have them put on display.

But to actually forget...even for a week...

Would that make it better or worse?

Reaching out, she lay her hand over his. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to bring up bad memories."

He looked at her a little blearily,the drink affecting him. "Doesn't matter, mine are all bad memories. "

There was a furrow in her brow as she watched him. "All bad?" she asked gently. "What about your friends?"

Draco stared at the alcohol in front of him with a frown. "When I left one of them had just burned alive in front of me...I couldn't get him out. "

Her fingers tightened on his as she watched him sadly. There wasn't really anything else she could say to that. She could only sit with him.

Draco frowned putting his glass down, "I should go," he murmured rubbing his head.

"You don't have to. I don't mind the company." And she didn't want to leave him alone with alcohol weighted thoughts. Troubles only got heavier that way.
