Who: Jilly Coppercorn and Lindsey McDonald
What: A bit of relaxation and conversation
When: Late, Friday Night
Where: Music Room
Rating: PG, PG-13?
Jilly was sitting with her back against the piano, sketchbook balanced on her knee. As she worked, her eyes would flicker over to Lindsey where he sat, hands moving smoothly over the strings of his guitar. It was his hands she was trying to sketch, as if she could capture the music he was making in pencil. It was familiar... and relaxing. Music and art and company. If she could ask for anything, this is exactly what she would want.
After a minute, she'll pause and stretch. "You know, I like being busy... but I think I'll be happy when Barney finds a few more people to help at the Kat."

Setting the menu aside until their waiter came to get the order, she'll lean forward. "So, birthday boy... what have you been up to, today?"

He leaned forward as well to match her. "Nothing much. I've been very lazy today. Saving my energy for what you have planned."

"Well, hopefully it'll be enough, then. I'd hate to disappoint."
She would have continued, only then the waiter was there, pad poised to receive their order.
"You two ready, or do you need more time?"

"Yeah, I'm good. You?" He looked at Jilly, because women always ordered first, and then he'd put in his.

"So are you going to tell me what your evil plans are, or just keep me guessing?"

Her eyes glinted in the dim lighting, the corners crinkling as she grinned.

She had him on the hook.

She smiled, twisting her hand to give his a squeeze. "I'll be right back, alright?"
Picking up her sketchbook, she got up on her feet, stepping away from the table. "Just a minute."

He watched her go, then leaned back in his chair and just looked around the place, taking in who was there, if they looked like a threat, and what they were doing. His fingers absently drummed on his leg, bored.

He decided to start flipping through the tabletop drink and desert menu after awhile, not aware she was sneaking up behind him.
