Who: Booster Gold/Michael Carter (
mylifeisntajoke), Blue Beetle II/Ted Kord (
yeahitsortofis), The Flash/Wally West (
scarletspeedsta), and Diana Prince/Wonder Woman (
sufferinsapphos)
What: Three manly men going to a manly bar for some beers. And a woman. Who doesn't drink beer.
When: Today. An hour after Michael and Wally's thread.
Where: At a bar in town...
Rating: PG-13? Idk I really suck at this.
Booster was lucky that Wally wanted to go to the bar of all places, because like Wally, Booster felt like shit and needed a drink, although for totally different reasons. And that just made him feel even more like shit since the first thing he should have done was console his friend, not... want a drink.
He hadn't expected to have told Wally about his unfortunate fate, but Booster couldn't help but feel cornered when Wally kept questioning him about Prime. The last thing he wanted was for Wally to publicly call out Prime, aggravate him, and start a fight. As much as he agreed that Superboy-Prime couldn't be left unpunished and free to hurt anyone as he pleased, he didn't want his friends sacrificing themselves. He hoped that the story he gave Wally would sink in enough for him to understand just how powerful Prime was. He hoped giving him such heavy news had been worth it.
After stopping by Ted's room and giving him directions, he left. He wanted to get to the bar quickly so that he could talk to Wally about what had happened without Ted there. His best friend wouldn't appreciate it if he found out, of course, but it was for his own good. Death was an uncomfortable subject, especially when you yourself are aware that you're dead. This was why Booster gave Ted the wrong directions, to buy himself some time. He made sure that the location he had given him was close enough so that he could find the proper one in no less than a half-hour or so. Then good times could be had, ... hopefully.
Garbed in his civilian attire, Booster pushed open the heavy door and stepped into the bar, doing his best to seem casual despite the stress of guilt and concern.

"Let her be. I have a feeling she'll made a worse drunk than I." He patted Diana on the shoulder. "Don't let him pressure you." He finished his whiskey, and ordered two more, finishing one of them right away.
Alcohol hit Wally hard, fast, and shortly. So he had to keep them coming. But sometimes it was hard to tell, and he wasn't that good at pacing. "Can I get a tall beer?" He asked the bartender, then turned to Diana. "Actually you should probably drink. Otherwise you're about to be really annoyed with me and I'll be embarrassed tomorrow. After Bruce, you're the last person I want to see me drunk if you're not." He looked at Michael.
"So...," He kept his eyes on Michael, "Diana, do you know who 'Superboy-Prime' is?"
