Who: Alice Cullen & Jasper Hale
What: Quality time /o/
When: Now
Where: Cullen house
Rating: PG-13
Alice flitted about her room, rearranging things and tidying up. She never spent that much time in there but she always wanted it to look tidy and welcoming. Besides, Esme took her job as a mother very seriously, and would probably scold her if it wasn't picked up.
The thought of that made her smile -- having everyone together again, in one place, was both a comfort and a relief. Alice didn't feel as stressed...or as guilty about losing her visions. It still bothered her a great deal that she couldn't help out her family as much, or that she couldn't predict how her day would go. But she would manage.
As she picked up a book off of her dresser, Alice's eyes were drawn to the ring Jasper had given her for Christmas. It brought an immediate smile to her face. They didn't have to pretend to be unmarried teenagers here.
Just another example of how for every cloud, there was a silver lining waiting to be found.
And speaking of things needing to be found...
She placed the book in it's proper place on the shelf and made her way out of the room, closing the door silently behind her. Alice practically skipped down the hall, hardly making a sound against the polished wood floor. Once she reached the door of Jasper's study she almost went ahead to turn the handle, then stopped herself. Instead she bit back a laugh and pressed her ear against the door to find out what he was doing.
Fashion was fun, but so was espionage.

In his earlier years as a vampire, he hadn't much time to study or learning or anything. Once he'd found Alice though and they'd found the Cullens, he'd found tons of free time and a new love for books.
He looked up as he heard the handle moving just slightly and heard Alice's movements outside of the door. He chuckled, feeling her mischevious amusement.
"Yes Alice?"

"You know, you could go along with it once in a while."
Alice opened the door all the way, gracefully stepping inside and closing it behind her. Eagerly she walked up to his desk and placed both hands on it, leaning forward as she tried to see what he was up to. She had no problem acting nosy.
"What are you up to~?"
no subject
"What are you up to?"
He leaned back in his seat, scooting back from the desk then, holding his arms out to her in an invitation. "C'mere?"
no subject
She more than happily skipped around the desk to sit in his lap, making sure to fix his shirt collar first.
"I was just fixing up my room a bit, and thinking about how much I loved my Christmas gifts."

"I could use some new material." He smiled. He settled into his chair, arms around Alice's waist, pulling her comfortably against him. "I'm glad to know you liked them," He murmured against her ear, pressing an affectionate kiss to the skin behind it.
"I really enjoyed mine." He told her, giving her another little kiss. "It's been fun learning how to play all those new songs."

Alice shifted so that her body was turned more towards his, delighting in the kisses and planting one of her own on his cheek.
"I can't wait to hear you play."
no subject
He settled his arms more comfortably around her and pressed another kiss to her cheek and then to her lips. He wasn't always so outwardly affectionate - that was usually due to being in the company of others. But he had no problem with displays of affection when they were alone.

Alice had her hands on his shoulders as she kissed him. It was both odd and exciting at the same time to not know what would happen next; whether or not they would leave to go outside soon or have need to lock the door for more privacy.
After a moment she pulled back just a bit to look into his eyes. "You do know how happy you make me, right?" Her voice was low, and filled with love.

He slid one hand up to cup her cheek, thumb stroking over her cheek bone. "The question is," He said with a little pause. "You know how happy you make me, right?" He asked.
He never bothered to hide his emotions from her, never holding back in his projections around Alice. Other's he shielded himself as best as he could - no need to impress emotions upon them. But Alice he felt deserved to know as much of how he felt as he did of her emotions.

"I do. Why else would you always carry my shopping bags and put up with all my quirks?" she replied with a soft laugh. "I have to be doing something right~" She covered his hand with her own before opening her eyes again, trying her best to look shy.
no subject
"I'd carry all the shopping bags in the world if you asked me." He said with a small chuckle. "And those quirks are what make me love you so much," He said, leaning forward and pressing a small kiss to her lips.
He tended to be stern and almost cold with others ... But Alice really could bring out the inner sap in him when she wanted to, melting his unbeating heart with ease.

Alice kissed him again, this time deeper and a bit longer. An arm sneaked around his shoulders to hold him closer.

He gave a gentle nip to her lower lip before kissing her more deeply again, keeping Alice pulled as close to him as he could get.

Not wanting to break the kiss, Alice decided to tug playfully at the hem of his shirt with her free hand instead.

He kept one arm firmly around her, pulling her as close to him as he could. His other hand slid into her hair, gently sliding through the short dark strands.

She then whispered impishly "you know...we have the house to ourselves right now."
no subject
"Do we?" He asked, one of the corner's of his mouth turning up in a bit of a smirk.
no subject
"Oh! But I did interrupt your studies, didn't I?" Alice cast a quick glance over to the forgotten book on the desk. "So if you'd rather get back to that..."
no subject
"I'm sure whatever it was you were about to suggest is far better." He told her, leaning in and playfully nipping her lower lip very lightly.
