[Thread] Fear Her
Who: Rose (
traveling_rose) and the Master (
sinister_charm)
What: Rose vs the Master cos he went and broke Ten's rib and left her with a second battered Time Lord to care for, argh!
When: after this post (afternoon-ish, June 25)
Where: 1920 ---> 207 ---> outside ---> and all back again
Rating: R to be safe for now (hello violence and pissed off people)
The Master's replies to her entry only fueled her desire to at the very least beat on his face some and give HIM a broken rib to nurse. She had honestly and truly had enough. Couldn't their piss-offs be with just words for once? No, that'd be asking too much of the Master. And he wanted to be the better man. That just would never happen.
She looked down at the Tenth Doctor, now in a sort of fitful, pained sleep. The sight reminded her of when he had regenerated. It had taken her some time, and put him through more pain than she wanted to think about, just to get his torso wrapped up and him lying back in bed next to a still unconscious Ninth Doctor. She sighed. Good thing he had given her a key to the room. She now had to be Nurse Tyler to both her Doctors.
It was just all wrong, so very very wrong.
Rose took a deep breath and temporarily calmed the storm within her so she could concentrate on gently checking the Ninth Doctor's vitals. One crushed, the other beaten.
Definitely not her week.
Vitals check done she gently pulled a blanket over the two of them and stepped quietly away from the bed. If they knew what she was going to head off and do they'd do more than just blow their tops.
In her time at the castle she had figured out that it took requests whether spoken out loud or thought about. Perfect, considering she knew they wouldn't like hearing her requests.
A katana. The castle produced one that looked like a near exact replica of the one she had last held in her hands. Fine by her considering she was giving that fucking bastard a repeat performance and all.
A fully-loaded handgun small enough so she could conceal it well enough under her red hoodie. An extra round of bullets to be concealed in a pocket.
That left her with one thing - a failsafe in case things went downhill. She looked back to the sleeping Doctors, katana casually held in one hand with the tip resting on the floor. They couldn't save her this time if needed. She knew they would hate her plan. They had after all stopped her the first time she tried to do it.
She knew her final request to the castle would be carried out, as usual. One very large truck and a thick chain with a hook would be waiting outside the Doctor's TARDIS. Only this truck she specifically asked to be voice activated so she could rip open the console with no help. She knew the castle would provide a truck like that as it provided them everything - except what they originally lost and a way home.
That settled she headed toward the door and was about to leave before she stopped and looked back to the Doctors again. She leaned the katana against the wall and went over to them.
Hopefully she didn't die. They needed someone to take care of them. Hold their hands.
She leaned over and first kissed the Ninth Doctor on the forehead, and then the Tenth.
She didn't look back again as she went to the door, got the katana and stepped outside to lock the door with her key. At least they'd be safe for now.
Katana in hand she headed to the elevator. No sense in going down all those flights to the second floor.
He was waiting after all.

Katana in hand she headed to the elevator. No sense in going down all those flights to the second floor.
He was waiting after all.

He screamed in pain, and grasped at his now bleeding and agonizing hand. He winced, then realized she was running. No, she wouldn't get away from him. Not after that lucky shot.
She was already out of sight when he dashed into the hall - but he'd catch her. She'd run out of breath before he would.
no subject
Right now though she was absolutely sprinting as fast as she could. Thankfully she had just needed to get down one floor and the main castle doors were just a large entryway away.
She didn't care if anyone looked at her for bolting across to the doors with a gun in one hand and a katana in the other. Said katana was discarded near the doors as she needed a free hand to open it and start her run to the TARDIS.
The gun would serve her better for now.

The Master grabbed the rail, but his hand was already slick with blood - and it made for a more difficult time.
He burst out of the stairwell and into the main hall.
Rose.
She was heading for the doors. He would catch her.

Though she had a gun, nearly fully loaded, and all she needed to do now was get to the TARDIS.
As she ran she dug out her TARDIS key so she could quickly unlock the door and get that chain hook on the console.
This time no one was going to stop her. Not the Doctors, not some person passing by, and definitely not the Master.

She was already a good deal in the distance when he got outside but it meant nothing to him except a bit more of a challenge.
He ran full speed. In the distance, he could see the TARDIS ahead of her. Oh, of course! Run and hide in the TARDIS; how typical.

"Truck start up!" she yelled at it, hoping like mad it would. Fortunately it did and she would have cheered or thanked the castle if it weren't for the fact that she needed to move and NOW.
She grabbed the chain hook, unlocked the TARDIS and yelled one more command to the truck before bolting up the ramp to get said chain hook on the console.
"Floor it when I say to and don't even stop until the chain loses tension!"
Up the ramp to the console and she had it. No turning back now. She stood before it and yelled her last command to the truck.
"FLOOR IT NOOOOOOW!"

The Master picked up the pace. He was starting to get a very dark feeling - an unclear premonition - and those were always bad.
Not far now, no. He could see inside the TARDIS. A... what was she doing? A chain to the...
No. Couldn't be.

And suddenly the console was open. It had worked. All her focus was now on the light within it, on getting it to help her once again.
She vaguely registered that the chain went clattering down the ramp and outside, and true to command the truck stopped.
Even if it hadn't stopped it wouldn't matter. Not now. Only looking into the TARDIS mattered.
The TARDIS doors slammed shut as the Time Vortex began to flow into her.
no subject
No; this was... she couldn't... it was the only explination. Somehow the Time Vortex was being brought into play. He didn't know how, but he was certain.
no subject
She was the Bad Wolf.
The Master was outside the TARDIS. In a blaze of light she disappeared from beside the console and reappeared just before the TARDIS doors.
Said doors flew open and light poured out. She stood in the middle of it like some ethereal being in a red hoodie, hair softly blowing in a breeze that seemingly came from nowhere.
The Bad Wolf looked at the Master. And she saw what he had done to the Doctor earlier.
