Thread: Nul Points [Allen, Ravi, Kanda]

Who: Allen ([livejournal.com profile] save_the_souls), Ravi ([livejournal.com profile] bookmansjunior), Kanda ([livejournal.com profile] to_dark)
What: Kanda goes back to continue with his mission
When: After the events here
Where: Back in Bak's room where Rinali is
Rating: PG-13ish for violence and swearing?

Kanda was not injured, he had a few blows here and there. Nothing significant. He brushed at the tear of his coat as he made his way back up the flight of stairs. He hastily scribbled a message to Misa and left it at that. He ... had to get back to his post.

Not that he thought people wouldn't have noticed him going off like that...

...Ah well.

Pushing the door open, he stepped back into the room

Allen lifted his head as the door open. He knew very little of what had gone on. All he knew were the basics: he had gone to sleep while Kanda was on watch. When he had woken up suddenly, Kanda had been missing. Ran off from his post because something had happened with Lae involving Skin Boric.

Ran off to save that heartless bastard, leaving Rinali vunerable from any other attacks.

He stood up, seeing it was the swordsmen in the door way. His fist clenched with rage, he gave Kanda the most infuriated look he could muster.

Ravi threw a glance over his shoulder when he heard the door open and Kanda enter the room. "Everything okay, Yuu?" he asked. Sure, Kanda had left his post when it was supposed to be his turn to keep watch, but Allen had still been in the room and Rinali was safe. He'd come back here as soon as he could himself, so everything worked out, right? Kanda had dealt with Skin Boric once before - he probably knew how to handle the guy and couldn't have had that much trouble doing it again, seeing as it didn't look like he was hurt.

"How's--" Ravi turned around fully, meaning to ask about Axel - Tatsuki wanted to know, after all - but he stopped, noticing the look on Allen's face. "Allen?"

[identity profile] save-the-souls.livejournal.com 2007-03-22 09:28 pm (UTC)(link)
Allen didn't even hesitate before storming across the room to where Kanda was. Yes, he really was angry. And the more he thought about it, the more he thought about the choice Kanda had made, the angrier he got.

The moment he got in range, his left hand clench in a fist went flying at Kanda's face. "How could you?!" he shouted, his voice matching the anger that he felt.

This wasn't going to be pretty. On the other hand, you couldn't really blame Allen for being pissed off. Rinali could have ended up in danger. But if Allen and Kanda killed each other right then and there, that wasn't going to help Rinali, either.

"Hey, seeing as it's too late for all that now anyway, how about we just pay attention to Rinali?" Ravi suggested.

[identity profile] save-the-souls.livejournal.com 2007-03-22 10:00 pm (UTC)(link)
He ignored Ravi's words of trying to mediate. They were suppose to pay attention to Rinali to begin with, Kanda had neglected that. He had done that to - to-

Allen replied to Kanda's fuck off with another swing at him. "You were suppose to watch her! Made sure nothing could happen to her!" His temper was reaching its full fury, his body was starting to shake with rage. "But you didn't give a damn about that! About her! Didn't even wake me, all you cared about was Lae!"

Ravi was getting the feeling that Allen and Kanda were off in their own little world right now. He contemplated smacking some sense into both of them. Rinali was right here. Then again, it had been stupid of Kanda to run off without making sure that someone was still watching her and Hevlaska and the Innocence.

Well... Just in case, yeah? They couldn't afford any injuries or deaths or anything. Ravi took out his hammer, but stayed where he was, standing near Rinali's bed.

His collar snatched, there was some part of his mind that was telling Allen he should stop. That he had gone far enough and should pull back and calm down.

But that wasn't the part of his mind that was controlling his actions.

He swung again, this time with his right arm. "NO!" he shouted. "Do you have any idea what could of happened?! This could of been a trap and you fell right fucking into it!" And all because of that goddamn asshole he called a friend. A bastard that associated himself with Noahs to begin with. For all Allen knew, he could of been part of it.

[identity profile] save-the-souls.livejournal.com 2007-03-22 11:08 pm (UTC)(link)
His eyes widen at the hissing in his ear. But they quickly narrowed as he understood what he meant. Kanda would leave Rinali to get hurt again, just to save that guy who didn't even have a heart.

At this, Allen's arm activated. It transformed into a giant claw that he used to fight. Within seconds he grabbed Kanda and threw him towards the other side of the room.

"You bastard," he hissed. "You little bastard! Say that again why don't you?!"

[identity profile] save-the-souls.livejournal.com 2007-03-22 11:40 pm (UTC)(link)
Allen stormed over there to where Kanda was, pure rage running through him; controlling his movements. And he didn't mind that, didn't mind the blind rage. Especially with what this guy was saying.

Standing over the other exorcist, he grabbed the guy's collar with his normal arm. "How dare you! How fucking dare you!" He raised his left hand that was now deactivated ready to swing again.

Sometimes you just wanted a normal hand to punch with.

Allen, scary as this side of him was, had a point. The whole thing could have been a trap. And it was pretty weird that Kanda, of all people, would just disobey orders and ditch a mission. Wasn't he the type to accept that sacrifices had to be made when you were in the middle of a war? Sometimes you couldn't keep civilians out of it, either, even if you tried.

"You guys wanna take this somewhere else?" Ravi spoke up again. He waved his hammer at the pair. "At this rate, we're gonna end up with some nice holes around here and then we're screwed." They'd give away Rinali's location and Hevlaska's and the Innocence's. Plus, Cross would kick their asses for it, right?

[identity profile] save-the-souls.livejournal.com 2007-03-23 12:51 am (UTC)(link)
Allen heard Ravi as well, but it was't the part that was in control. It was hard to stop once he started being in a rage.

But then Allen was kicked back. He fell a good few feet from Kanda and landed against the floor. He quickly got up and found Mugen inbetween the two.

"Get the hell out," Allen hissed. The last thread of rational thinking he had in him. Kanda needed to leave or else he would only fight more.

[identity profile] bookmansjunior.livejournal.com 2007-03-23 01:08 am (UTC)(link)
Maybe it wouldn't be a bad idea to whack both of them over the head... They wouldn't be at each other's throats for a while that way, at least, right?

Ravi let his hammer's handle extend. The head ended up poised in the air above Allen and Kanda - he left it at that, though, and waited to see whether Kanda was going to do what Allen had just told him to do or actually use Mugen.

[identity profile] save-the-souls.livejournal.com 2007-03-23 01:26 am (UTC)(link)
Allen never took his glare off of Kanda as he left the room. That was probably the only smart thing the guy had done all night. The moment the door was shut he sighed and tilted his head back...seeing the hammer above his head.

Guess thats what would of happened if Kanda hadn't left. "Don't worry Ravi, you don't need to knock me out." he said in a lot calmer voice than he had been using before. He wasn't angry at the redhead after all.

"We should get back to guarding Rinali and the Innocence," was all he said before taking his seat by the bedside again.

[identity profile] bookmansjunior.livejournal.com 2007-03-23 01:39 am (UTC)(link)
All things considering, that probably could have turned out worse, so this seemed like a pretty good outcome for now. Ravi glanced away from the door and back at Allen, then pulled his hammer away and let it shrink.

"Remind me never to piss you off, 'kay?" he remarked as he sat back down. Getting on Allen's bad side seemed like it could be worse than you'd expect.
