Rating: PG-13 because Kanda is very scary right now and Misa won't help?

Misa was bored. It was nice of Allen to give up his room for her, but being alone all day while she rested was so boring after a while. She'd dressed up in different outfits. Maid, police officer, ballerina, but that grew tiring after a while. Yuu Yuu was supposed to visit and bring her something to eat, too, so maybe today was looking up.

Still, even Misa realized something was definitely off about Kanda. He was hearting at people and showing human emotion. Even before his mood swings, something seemed to be bothering him. But if Yuu Yuu was happy, Misa was happy. He seemed okay, so she really didn't care what had melted his heart. Plus, he might be her doll if he was so happy.

Misa glanced down at the journal lying open on the bed. Pushing up the sleeves on Allen's exorcist coat, Misa watched the flailing reactions of the others. Tsk, so dramatic, really.

Well, she'd find out how dire the situation was shortly.

A promise was a promise and so with that in mind, Kanda had left to the kitchens and then up to Allen's room where Misa was staying. He held two plates of green tea ice cream- did Misa like that?- he was not sure, but it felt appropriate...

Well, hopefully she wouldn't mind. If she did, he could go downstairs and get her something else.

Kanda smiled a little as he knocked on the door. "Misa Misa?"

She looked up when she heard the knock and the muffled sound of her name came through the door. Misa Misa? Yuu Yuu must be in a good mood. Wow, she didn't know Kanda's voice could sound so not unhappy. Snapping the journal shut, Misa bounced to the end of the bed before slowly getting to her feet.

She frowned at Allen's coat dragging on the ground. Lifting the sides like a gown, Misa made her way to the door before pulling it open. Yup. It was Yuu Yuu. He was ...smiling? Yuu Yuu could smile after all!

"Long time no see, Yuu Yuu!" she grinned, hoping her hair hid the bandages on her face. She gestured for him to come inside. "Wow, you brought Misa Misa ice cream?"

Kanda looked at the bandages and frowned a little but he lifted the bowls of ice cream cheerfully and gave a nod. "I did!" he followed her inside and set the bowls down on the table.

"Is Misa Misa alright?" Kanda said, face showing concern and he pointed at the bandages.

She looked kinda funny in that exorcist coat too. Kanda didn't laugh though. Not yet.

"Yay!" she exclaimed, clapping her hands together before shutting the door. "Thanks, Yuu Yuu!"

Misa turned to him and gave a faltering smile. She was fine. Her boyfriend just couldn't see her until she healed. But so many people had been nice to her. Even Yuu Yuu was being nice. It was strange seeing him almost happy. Hm. She took a few steps toward him.

Without warning, Misa jumped forward and threw her arms around Kanda's neck. "I'm just ugly for a little while, but I'm okay. Thank you! Are you okay?"

Kanda smiled at her, though he nearly dropped the bowls when she clung to him. He beamed down at her happy with her gesture, positively glowing.

"Yeah, I'm okay, it's good to see you well too Misa Misa! And Misa is not ugly. Ever"

It was strange to feel so happy but Kanda was not going to complain. Especially when one of his friends seemed happy to see you.

She looked up at him with bright eyes, her chin resting on his chest. Others has told her she couldn't look ugly, but Yuu Yuu had actually seen her and Kanda wasn't normally the type to hand out compliments. "Thanks, Yuu Yuu!"

Misa realized she was on her tip toes still clinging to his neck. But Misa was always like this, always touching and feeling and being close to people. Kanda wasn't, and he was smiling at her. Letting go, she stared up Yuu Yuu and pointed a finger at him before laughing. "You're smiling! Misa didn't know Yuu Yuu knew how! It's cute, Yuu Yuu, Misa thinks you should smile more. You're pretty cute."

Kanda laughed a little. "I only smile during special times." he winked at her, and returned the smile moving one hand to offer her the bowl of ice cream now that she had let go of him.

Was it really that odd to see him smile? He had no idea...

Misa blinked up at him. He looked so happy. Kanda laughed and winked. It was bizarre, but...

She took the bowl of ice cream from him. Green tea ice cream she liked. Strawberry was her second favorite. She could eat sweets just this once.

"Misa likes this side of Yuu Yuu," she said with a bouncing nod, heading to the bed and motioning for Kanda to join her. One hand held the exorcist coat from the floor. "You should be happy, Yuu Yuu."

Kanda chuckled and followed Misa to sit next to her on the bed. Really? He didn't mind being like this much to be honest, it made him happy too- although it was hard to see a reason why not to be happy? Yeah, something like that. It was throughly plesant.

Oh yeah... "Why are you wearing Allen's coat?" It looked funny on Misa and Kanda felt something inside. Something like... concern? Yes, maybe. He didn't want Misa involved with...

Hm...

Misa blinked at Kanda when he asked about the coat. She blinked, because she had spoon full of ice cream in her mouth. She licked the sweet from the metal and swallowed slowly. Mm, it had been a while since she'd had something like this. It was good.

"Well, Misa's room was destroyed, and we didn't grab any of Misa's clothes when I came up," she explained, waving the spoon with her words. "So Misa is wearing Allen's clothes, because I don't want to be naked all the time. I like the coat, but it's heavy!"

It was stranger hearing Kanda do things like laugh on top of smiling. Yuu Yuu was a mysterious boy. But something had been bothering him. Oh yeah, about Axel and Ravi. He'd promised to tell her about it. "What about Yuu Yuu? Something was on your mind, right?"

Kanda gave an embarassed look and then a nod, "Uhm... yeah." he placed the bowl of ice cream on the side and then plopped down on the bed starring at the ceiling.

Sigh.

Ravi...

He felt his cheeks flush in embarassment at that particular memory and he... giggled. Yes, Kanda Yuu giggled.

Misa swayed with the springs when Kanda flopped on the bed. She turned at the sound of him ...giggling? He was blushing, too! Misa quickly left the bed to place the bowl on table and just as soon returned, bouncing back onto the covers next to him. This was so weird.

Misa was on hands and knees on the bed, hovering at Kanda's side, her head above his. Her blond hair fell on his face as peered down at him with a grin. "Yuu Yuu has a naughty story! Tell Misa Misa!"

She was excited to hear some gossip.

Kanda reached up to snatch her and pull her close to him so he could whisper in her ear, just to make sure no one ever heard these words outside of this place.

After all, this was Allen's room!

"I kissed Ravi~" the swordsman whispered and then broke out into laughter, yeah, he was happy to have done that.

She made a small squeal of surprise when he grabbed her, blushing when he touched her. Her eyes widened when Kanda told her. Oh, that was naughty. Misa giggled as Kanda laughed.

Nn, her boyfriend would get the wrong impression if she didn't move. Straightening up, Misa waved a hand at him, looking sly. "Oh, that's so naughty Yuu Yuu. Are you going to tell Misa it's the same with Axel, too? You're so bad."

"Oh yeah!" she burst. Remembering something, Misa reached underneath one of Allen's pillows. Pulling her prize out, she showed them to Kanda. Pink ribbons.

"Well, I did kiss Axel too, but he's more of a friend." the swordsman closed his eyes. "Ravi is special."

Somehow.

But Kanda didn't want to talk more about that.

Kanda rolled on his side watching what she was pulling out from underneath the pillows. "Oh!" he sat up, "You really are going to do my hair then." The thought was amusing, though he knew it should annoy him, but right now... it only made him laugh some more. Why not?

"Oh, Yuu Yuu! You shouldn't kiss friends like that," she chastised, wagging a finger at him. She thought two guys doing that kind of thing was gross, but since there were no normal boys here, she'd really gotten used to it. Love is blind, after all. "When you kiss someone, it should only be someone special. So you like Ravi?"

She frowned of him. Of course she was going to do his hair! What kind of question was that? Changing back to a smile, she patted the bed in front of her and winked. "Sit here so Misa can do your hair."

"No?" Kanda looked confused for a second and pouted, "Oh. Okay." He would try not to do it again then, but he thought it was a way to show he cared? Though right now he was not having this problem at all.

Did he like Ravi?

Kanda smiled at her and crossed his legs moving to sit where she indicated. "Okay, something that... " Well, Ravi would like.

Though Kanda still was too proud to admitt that.

Oh, so Yuu Yuu wouldn't spill all his secrets even though he was happy. Misa didn't mind. Though, she really didn't want him to go around kissing everyone the way that ...well, how did they kiss?

"Well, it's okay to kiss someone on the cheek. Like this." When Kanda settled in front of her, she leaned over his shoulder and kissed him on the cheek. Pulling back to grab her bows, she said, "That's okay. That shows you care about someone. But if you start kissing passionately, that's for lovers only! No tongue unless it's your boyfriend."

She took his dark hair in her hands. He took care of it, though it could use brushing. Fortunately, that was also under a pillow. "Sit still. Misa will make you cute for Ravi."

Kanda paused and looked at her, his mouth opened in an big "O" shape. Now that make sense, although... "Tongue? Ew." That sounded... disgusting. All he had done was pressing lips and... he went a little red at the thought and laughed again.

It had been nice.

But then he stilled at her orders, "Oh?" Cute for Ravi? Kanda laughed again, "I think I'm scarying Ravi right now." Just being so...happy.

Misa shook her head at him as she undid the band in his hair. "Clearly Yuu Yuu is inexperienced. When you find someone you love, you'll want to do those kind of things with them."

She giggled at him suddenly. If he thought that gross, he'd totally freak if Misa told him what else lovers do. Sometimes these boys were like little kids. Securing his hair in one hand, she began brushing. "Well, Yuu Yuu is acting different, so he's probably just shocked you're being so affectionate. But if you're kissing each other, he must not be scared, right?"
