Lacus Clyne was heading up the stairs to Cagalli's room, to meet up with the others. She didn't remember Mr. Lupin, and had only talked to Mr. Mikura briefly before. Lacus was looking forward to it, and especially to seeing Cagalli again.
For the occasion she had found a gorgeous blue dress for herself; it reminded her of the ones she had worn for her concerts back home. Since she was used to dressing up and attending formal events she would fit right in with the rest of the ball-goers.
"Pink-chan, you look quite handsome," she said to her haro who was bouncing around her feet as she climbed the steps. Lacus was quite proud of herself; she had fashioned a little black tuxedo, bowtie and mask for her friend. Although they made a strange couple and earned several weirded-out looks from the people that they passed along the way, she was happy.
She reached the floor and started looking at the nameplates, careful not to overlook any. The hall was quiet and she hummed to herself to break the silence. Lacus reached Cagalli's door, and knocked three times before stepping back with her hands clasped behind her. Pink-chan spun happily on the floor, flashing. Lacus raised a finger to her lips, signaling for the little guy to be quiet.

Stepping out of his room and shutting to door behind him, he glanced around the hall. Cagalli's room was on the same floor as him. She made it sound like it was really close too. Unfortunately, he didn't know the exact room number. This led to him standing there in the middle of the floor, with a confused expression, in a suit. Not the smartest looking thing to do
Maybe if he waited for just a moment for her to come out, or for someone else to come? Two other people were going with them. The problem there, he didn't know what they looked like. Even if the did, they were wearing mask, so that wasn't that helpful. Looked like he'd be waiting for Cagalli to appear after all.
