Thread: Missed me, Missed me [Sora and Riku]
Who: Sora (
chosen_heart) and Riku (
from_twilight)
What: Meeting up after Riku's arrival.
When: After the conversation here.
Where: Sora's room 219
Rating: PGish?
His head felt light as he made his way down the stairs to the room. This was all wrong, this was not as it was supposed to be. This was all wrong. This was all wrong- it was all that ran through his mind. When Roxas? Yes- he... he had not been joking. Riku made a note to poke that guy later. Him and Kairi. What was wrong with Kairi too? She'd sounded so...
...This was wrong.
What was this place? Paradisa? Paradise?
It seemed that not only was there something wrong with Sora, but his own memories were a bit askew. Namine... Roxas. Those names sounded so familiar. Like he should know them... but somehow. It all escaped him. A lot was missing. It felt like it was. Some sort of hole in his recollection of events. However right now... Sora and Kairi were important. Maybe Sora would be able to tell him where Kairi was... had he forgotten her too?
After everything?
It seemed so unfair.
Stopping infront of the door, Riku lifted his hand to knock on the door, slouching a little awkwardly.

Now he went tearing through the pages, seeing if he could find, well, anything about this Riku. Surely if this guy was his best friend like he said, Roxas would of mentioned something. He did have all of Sora's memories after all. He found a single line at the beginning of the first journal, the one full of things that Roxas has told him. 'Riku, a childhood friend' That was all that Sora knew about this guy. It didn't seem fair.
He threw the journal to the floor in frustration as he heard a knock at the door. Time to get this over with, though he dreaded how much he was going to upset this guy. Getting up, he went over to answer the door. It was a guy who was taller than him (who wasn't?) with long silver hair, but still looked to be about his age.
"Hi?" he said nervously.

...Pain crossed Riku's face, clear as day, before it was shoved carefully under a careful mask of some indifference. The hurt was still there.
"You really weren't joking when you said you didn't remember, huh?"
Riku shoved one hand on his pocket, fist clenching.
no subject
"I'm sorry, I wasn't." He hated this. Hated being the one to cause pain for these people, all because this place robbed him of memories. Why couldn't it have taken something else of his?
"I know that, we're childood friends. I know its not much but-" he stopped and looked down. That sounded so puny coming out, he could only imagine his own reaction if the roles were reversed.

For a moment he found it hard to swallow the sheer shock of Sora's words, how he looked down at his feet- and Riku felt angry- how could he have forgotten him? And Kairi? What of her? This- the fist clenched and unclenched slowly as he counted to ten.
When he spoke again he forced his voice to be steady and even, "Hey-" he hesitated but then reached over to give Sora a slap on the shoulder. "Come on Sora. Don't make that face."
Because that hurt too.
"It's okay."
No but-
"It'll be fine. I've also forgotten some things."
no subject
For Riku, he tried to form a small smile. No sad faces, right? Someone had told him that. Maybe it was Riku that did.
"You did too?" he asked. He wondered what sort of things.
no subject
Right now, he was trying to get his bearings right, trying to figure out where to go from here. Acting as if nothing seemed the right choice for now. Sora... it hurt him too and it must have been hard for him, not remembering... Riku wanted to ask what else- no- who else Sora had forgotten but...
"How long have you been stuck here?"
no subject
He stepped back to let the guy into his room as he thought about it. "I think about two months now." He crossed his arms in frustration. "This place is proving really hard to get out of."
Though he wondered, wouldn't Riku have notice him going missing for two months? Unless he meant something else.
no subject
"Really? Well, now that I'm here we'll figure a way out. You always were slow." he teased.
But no... Sora had taught him lots of things at the end... and- shaking his thoughts away, Riku glanced at Sora again. "Kairi's here too, you've seen her?"
no subject
On mention of Kairi, Sora scratched his head and looked away again. "Not really," he said honestly. "She says she's never met me. And the only reason I know about her at all is because of Roxas."
no subject
But yes, he had to see Kairi too, make sure she was alright.
"So how about a tour of the place since you've been here?"
no subject
"A tour? Yeah I guess I could give you one," If there was thing Sora did know, it was the layout of this place. After all, he's spent the past two months looking in every nook and cranny for a way out. "What do you wanna see?"
no subject
"I don't know." The grin was back in place, "What is there to see around here other than rooms and corridors?"
no subject
He just wish he could remember what sort of thing Riku would like.
no subject
Yeah.
Riku wasn't too picky right now, he wanted to familiarize himself with the grounds so he could move about easier.
no subject
"Okay, game room it is!" He pointed towards the stairway that would get them closer. "Its on the first floor this way," He didn't go to the game room too often, but he knew where it was at. "In fact, anything that isn't a bedroom can be found there. Well, the rooms anyway."
Sora kept thinking of all the things he wanted to ask Riku. About him, their friendship, their past, their journeys -- he wasn't even sure where to begin.
no subject
"Oh? And this place a lot of things? Almost everything?" It would be an interesting stay then. Not that he was planning to stay there always but...
...well.

"Yeah." Riku paused. "I have been there." Though the details were kind of fuzzy in his mind. He had been looking for Sora, but- but-
-there was more, he just couldn't remember what exactly. And it bothered him. "Looking for you, if memory serves right." he added with a shrug.
no subject
He couldn't help but notice the pause and a confused look come from the other boy. What was that for? "Yeah? Did you find me?"
no subject
"Another swimming competition? We should join if it goes through. See which one of us wins." he teased
no subject
"Yeah? You think so?" Sora probably was going to join anyway, but it would be fun to have Riku there too. "Hey, did we compete a lot like that before? Who usually won?"
no subject
"But you're getting better. Maybe you'll beat me next time around."
no subject
"Maybe! I have gotten a lot better! We'll have to see!"
