Thread: Saying hello. [Yachiru and Ravi]

Who: Yachiru and Ravi.
What: Ravi goes to meet Yachiru, having promised to introduce her to Kanda.
When: After this.
Where: Yachiru's room, 1318, at first.

RaviRav, Runique, Raby... For the first time (or at least, as far as Ravi could remember here, with memories going missing), he was on the receiving end of nicknames himself, ones other than 'idiot' and 'Junior'. But, strangely enough, he still hadn't actually met any of the people who had come up with those nicknames in person.

Maybe that was going to change, though, seeing as he was about to meet one of them - Yachiru, the one behind 'Raby'.

Ravi didn't know what exactly to expect when he made his way up to the thirteenth floor and room 1318. The girl he'd been talking to sounded like a kid, but she'd said shinigami aged differently to humans. She could be pretty old in human years. That made it just a little less creepy that she sounded so excited about the idea of killing 'Hollows' and those things she'd mentioned at the same time as sounding just as excited about meeting Kanda to 'play' with him.

But hey, some exorcists had started at a pretty young age, too, so maybe that was no different.

Ravi found the right door and raised his hand to knock and wait for an answer.

Yachiru jumped up at the sound of the knock.

"Nyaaa~ It's a visitor~ Hee hee!" She jumped for joy as she walked to the door. "Who is iiiit~?" She jumped up trying to reach the peep hole. But to no avail. It was hard for her to jump very high in her gigai.

Yachiru waited impatiently for a response from her mysterious guest.

Ravi thought he heard someone jumping up and down on the other side of the door. Sounded like a kid. Curious about that, he wondered whether a shinigami that sounded like a kid was actually going to look like one, too, or not. Yachiru definitely seemed pretty different from Byakuya.

He leaned closer to the door, palm placed against it, and raised his voice to be heard through the wood. "It's Ravi," he replied. "I figured I'd take you up on that invitation and drop by to say hi, yeah?"

Yachiru grinned widely. "Nyaaa~~~ Raby! Come in!" She jumped up and down and unlocked the door. She opened it quickly still hopping like a bunny. "Hee hee, nice to meet you!" She tugged on his arm nudging him to come in.

"Did you bring your friiiieeeend with you?"

The door opened and Ravi found himself looking at a pink-haired girl, who seemed pretty small and really was hopping up and down. That made the whole killing Hollows and so on enthusiasm more than a little unnerving all over again, but he grinned at her, letting her tug him into the room. "Same goes for you," he replied as he glanced around to study his surroundings for a few seconds, out of automatic curiosity.

Looking back down at Yachiru, Ravi shook his head. "Yuu's staying with Red, so he's probably still in bed, but nothing wrong with people dropping by for a visit once in a while, right? I bet he could use the company."

Even if Kanda probably didn't agree with him there.

Yachiru smiled. "Nyaaa~ Your really tall Raby!" She hopped back and closed the door.

"Who's Red?" She stood in front of Raby and cocked her head to the side. "What room are they in? Is it near by? Hee hee."

Ravi gave Yachiru another grin. He didn't deal with kids a lot, let alone kids that weren't actually kids but shinigami that were technically older than him, but he didn't think he was that bad at it. This probably wasn't that different.

"Red's a friend of Yuu's," he explained. His name's Lae, unless you're one of the people calling the guy Axel. Maybe you're gonna end up seeing him, too." He shrugged. He hadn't run into Axel when he'd visited Kanda. "Well, we gotta head down a couple of floors to get to their room. They're on the fifth floor, so that's closer to my room than up here."

"Eeeeh? You mean Lexa? Hee hee! I know Lexa! He's funny!" Yachiru smiled and spun around in a circle. "Nyaa~ Let's go bug Lexa and Yuuuuuu~!"

Yachiru ran across her room and grabbed her zanpakuto in the corner of the room. The wheels on the sheathe of her sword squeeked loudly as she ran towards the door pulling Raby along the way. "Let's go, let's go!"

Lexa? Ravi snickered to himself a little at that. Red was ending up with a whole bunch of nicknames left and right, huh.

"So you already met the guy?" he asked, watching Yachiru, before he found himself being tugged back into the direction of the door. He reached for the doorknob and pulled the door open for him and Yachiru to go back out into the hall. "Okay, surprise visit it is!"

[OOC: I e-mailed Kanda's player to ask and she said it'd be okay for Ravi to go introduce Yachiru to Kanda, so if she and Axel's player might be interested, did we want to try doing a group log? XD Or we could pretend, if you guys would prefer that.]

"Nyaa~ I didn't meeet him! I talked to him with my magical BOOK! He's funny~" Yachiru started to skip down the hall in the wrong direction, humming to herself. While dragging Raby behind her. "Nyaa I doubt they'll mind if we pop in! Hee hee~."

(OOC: Damn, you went and did all that? Wow, I'm so lazy I'd probably would have waited for a miracle chance when we were all online, ha! I'd rather do it with them than pretend. Soooo~ Let's dooo thiiiiis! >=D~)

"Yeah?" Ravi chuckled. "I still gotta meet him properly myself." That portal visit to his room when Axel had come to pick up Kanda didn't really count, right? "Guess now's as good a time as any." He grinned.

But, noticing that Yachiru was trying to head down the wrong end of the corridor, Ravi stopped walking before they got too far. "Hey, the stairs're over there," he said, pointing into the opposite direction.

[OOC: No worries! XD Yay~ That sounds good to me, so I'll make a post in the OOC comm soon-ish to ask them if they're free?]

"Hee hee! This'll be fun~" Yachiru smiled eager for her play time with Yuu.

"EEEEEEEEEEH!? THE CASTLE TRICKED ME AGAIN!! Nyaaaaaaaaaaaaa!" Yachiru gave out a large sigh of exasperation. She pouted a moment then turned around. She picked up her pace to a slight run dragging Raby behind her like a child's toy bear. Her Zanpakuto now barely on the ground as she flew down the hall.

(OOC: Blaaargh. *Dies* Uh...It's 1 AM here. I've gotta hit the sack, despite the 2 inches of snow on the ground and the low chance of school tomorrow...</3 Continue tomorrow? Maaaybe 1 or 2 more posts~? Heheh.)

Ravi was starting to wonder how Yachiru was managing to drag him around like that. He had to be nearly twice her size and probably a lot heavier than a girl that small, but here she was, pulling him down one side of the hall and then the other like it took no effort at all.

Maybe it was a shinigami thing. He quickened his steps to keep up, but laughed. "I bet we're gonna get there in no time like this."

Yachiru continued to fly down the hall and to the stairs. "What floor?" Yachiru waited a moment. Then was flying down the stairs dragging Raby and her Zanpakuto down. The whole time with a grand grin on her face. She couldn't wait to meet her new friends.

She managed to get to the 3rd floor before comming to a halt. Only just then realizing Raby never said a word. "Nyaaa~ Are we there yet~?" She began to pout childishly.

(OOC: AAAAND that's where I stop. Talk to Yuu and Lexa when you can. I'll probably be on after 5 PM EST. time. Not sure though...Good night~)

That... went really fast. Ravi barely had a chance to reply to Yachiru before they were already going down staircase after staircase without stopping. "Fifth floor, room 513," he said, trying not to miss any steps in case that sent them falling down the rest, which would go pretty fast, too, but would be a lot more painful.

Then, when they finally stopped, Ravi glanced around and caught sight of the numbers on some of the nearby room doors. The third floor already? "Well, now we just gotta go back up two floors," he replied, "and then we're there."

[OOC: All right, sure thing~ *thumbs up* Good night!]

"..." Yachiru's pout was slowly turning into a 5 year old's version of an 'I hate you' rant. Yachiru turned around sharply. Taking Raby with her.

She slowly trudged up the steps her Zanpakuto and Raby dragging behind.

4th floor. She stopped and stared at the number 4 on the wall. 4 is not 5. Okay! She continued to trudge upward her steps more sharp and hastily made. Her Zanpakuto banged loudly against the hard steps making a sort of clang noise as she went.

...5th floor. 5 is 5? Yes. It is. "...Is this it, Raby?" A smile returned to her face. Her excitement slowly crept back to her.
