[ COMPLETED ] INO & KAIBA.

Who: Ino and Kaiba.
What: Kaiba said he'd come over to show Ino holograms.
When: Uhh. This is a thread for a couple days ago, yay me~ :D;;
Where: Ino's apartment, Room 1005.
Rating: PG-13? I HAVE NO IDEA.

Despite Kaiba's intentions to meet with Yuugi — or "Yami" as he had named himself — he had become quite distracted upon reaching the Main Floor. Normally he was very prompt with meetings (he had to be as a CEO), however he'd heard an all-too-familiar noise from a nearby room. Upon inspection the room turned out to play host to numerous games, something Kaiba found interesting. Unfortunately he managed to waste over an hour inside, looking at the games and machines, briefly entering a number of the rooms towards the back. The most unusual seemed to be a combat simulator — dark, white room with circular symbols on the floor that glowed while a dry, female voice spoke out commands. He hadn't tried it for long himself, a few levels on the beginning mode. It was an application of Virtual Reality but it seemed extremely basic — or perhaps it was designed with simplicity in mind. Hard to tell.

Either way, when he realized how much time had passed Kaiba decided to head up and see Ino. With the game room just awaiting exploration (it didn't look like anyone had gone in there yet, the scores were still clear for many of the games), he didn't feel the need to stay and explain to Ino the details of holograms and how he spent several hours perfecting the images displayed through the system. Before he likely would have but now he had better things to do. It wasn't his company but the main floor would do for now — hell, he might even be able to improve the gaming system down below. If he was lucky it would put off the creators of this simulation and if not.. Well, he had something to pass the time until Mokuba found a way to bring him back into reality.

The wait was going to be a long one, especially if the Yuugi hanging around (Yuugi appeared to be as insane as ever, something Kaiba doubted could be easily replicated. Nonetheless he'd have to test his rival to make certain. The best method would be to do something that Yuugi would not normally expect. But what? It would have to be something he considered at that moment, otherwise they could program a response into the coding. That is, if they were watching his brain waves) had been here for as long as he had implied.

Upon reaching the tenth floor, Kaiba followed the numbers down to five. Unfortunately his room was just above Ino's, but fortunately she didn't know that. He planned to keep it a secret, but he doubted it would make to much of a difference if she knew. Other than her coming up to agitate him, which wasn't altogether unlikely. He imagined she would, once she crafted the idea that they were friends into her noggin, come to visit every once in a while. It was a girl thing, they did that to him. A large number of women tended to flock to his mansion if he gave them the slightest bit of attention — or even if he didn't acknowledge their existence. It was hard being a rich CEO sometimes. Thankfully they wouldn't bother him when he was sixty, it was an age to look forward to.

Of course he'd had enough money to retire ten times over when he was thirteen. Go Kaiba Power go. Working had given him something to do, and it meant he could put the education Gozaburo put him through to good use.

Musings aside, Kaiba made it to room 1005. He knocked, forcefully and loudly to ensure he got Ino's attention no matter where she was and announced himself, "It's Kaiba."

Ino had been sitting on the floor, looking through the pages in her journal. She had been hoping to find some information about this place, but nothing seemed to be popping up. She considered looking for a library, but that would be so dull, and she was sure that some people had already read the entire thing through. She was one of many new arrivals, it seemed like many people had been here much longer than she. And besides, it seemed like she was stuck here anyways. She supposed to best thing to do was to have fun while she could. It didn't seem like anyone was being sent off on missions here, so she guessed maybe it was a vacation.

In any case, she heard a loud rapping on the door, followed by a voice she didn't quite catch. It didn't sound familiar ... she opened the door, holding one arm behind the door with a kunai on hand (after all, who knows how many dangerous people there were around). She looked over Kaiba quickly, making a quick mental comment on his strange style of dress before staring him straight in the eye. "Who're you?" She thinks back to remember if she was expecting any visitor from talking to them through the journal. Oh! "Oh, wait ... you're Kaiba, right?" she says, relaxing only a little.

She opened the door a little wider, still holding on to the knife with one finger but dropping her hands to her sides. Kind of weird, not very talkative ... yup, he came off the same as he did in the journal. Besides, she figured if he was going to be a sissy about the knife, then he could just go right ahead and leave. "Sorry," she said, smiling apologetically. "You can never be too careful about who you're letting in, I guess." She extends her hand towards the inside of the room. "You can come in, if you want." She was still a little weirded out by Kaiba's coat -- who wore stuff like that? -- but she figured that was probably how people from his world dressed.

She left the door open and walked back over to the journal, flipping it shut and putting it back into the pack. She also drops the kunai back into the pack as well, it seemed there was no need for her to be too on guard with this person.

"So. Holoma .. whatever that thing was that you were going to show me?"

Dumbfounded was right. Ino was about to ask him what he was doing -- a little horrified turned on confused at the smile, but she had no time for a reaction. Suddenly, her lips were touching his, his lips were touching her, her face was turning BRIGHT RED and her brain was spazzing out. What was he DOING? They had only just met an hour prior! And besides, hadn't he said he was being sarcastic when he called her 'stunning'?! Not that she minded. She realized she was lost in thought and pulled away, trying to regain her composure.

Okay, so he was pretty attractive. She wasn't paying attention long enough to notice if he was a good kisser or not -- Wait! She had to get to the bottom of this.

"W-w-w-what ... " She realized her words were coming out spluttery and nervously. She took a deep breath; her cheeks still red and her gaze indirect, but nonetheless it came out -- "W-w-why did you d-do that?" Okay, still not perfect, but it would do.

Ino just stood staring at the door in total mental shock, her mouth dropped open in surprise. She slowly made her way over to a chair. She was about to pull out her journal and make a very confused entry; but then she stopped. Sakura would see it, wouldn't she? She'd probably make fun of her and call her a whore or something. That wouldn't do. Too embarrassing.

She put her hand to her lips, her face still a bright reddish color. She wasn't even sure what to think of this. They had just met, yet he had already kissed her twice -- once on the lips and OF COURSE that was not her first kiss, once on her hand. He said he'd give her time to THINK about it. Time to think about what?! Ino's mind automatically said 'going out, of course'; but there was just no way.

... Wait.

Was this all about that comment he had made about her being the one who would lust after him? Was he trying to win her over?

... She needed someone to talk to. Badly.
