first lesson;

[ Dictated; after the sounds of things crashing and breaking are done with... ]

Wh—what's going on?! Timon?! Pumbaa! Where are you guys?

[ There are even more sounds now, little paws scrambling about, things being knocked over, claws scratching at the walls, windows, and door. ]

This isn't funny, you guys! Where did you put me? Let me out of here! Is this some sort of test?! I thought we were friends already! ...Oh wait, then does that mean I'm failing? I'm not supposed to panic, right?

Okay, okay! Hakuna Matata! I'm fine. Keep me in here as long as you want, I'll definitely pass! [ A beat, then more quietly. ] I wonder if there's any food in here... This is a really weird looking cave.

[ ooc; Lion cub in the lobby, if you wanna run into him! Dictated as well. It's not like he can open doors... ]

[And that certainly doesn't help a hangover either.

For the woman that makes a habit of trying to keep her obvious exterior reactions to a minimum, that will certainly inspire one. The high pitch of that sends shockwaves through her brain, each more painful than the last. She takes a couple of automatic steps back, if only to put some distance between herself and that seriously awful noise.

Thanks, talking lion. Really.]

[By the time her ears quit ringing and she can open her eyes again, she's alone. There's no sign of the little lion cub, and she wonders if he's gone, if she'd really imagined the whole thing after all--

Until she spots him on the couch, licking his wounds, and she's back to watching him silently for the moment. She may not have understood exactly what happened back there, and she may not have always been the world's biggest animal person, but you'd have to be completely heartless not to feel at least something from that little display.]

[Now comes the time when she feels like she should say something. Manners, you know? Julia is, if anything, quietly polite. Even through the weirdest, most awkward situations.

It's with that tone that she speaks up a moment later.]

It wasn't intentional.

[... Wait. Now it's time for a reality check. Is she really still talking to a lion?]
