first lesson;

[ Dictated; after the sounds of things crashing and breaking are done with... ]

Wh—what's going on?! Timon?! Pumbaa! Where are you guys?

[ There are even more sounds now, little paws scrambling about, things being knocked over, claws scratching at the walls, windows, and door. ]

This isn't funny, you guys! Where did you put me? Let me out of here! Is this some sort of test?! I thought we were friends already! ...Oh wait, then does that mean I'm failing? I'm not supposed to panic, right?

Okay, okay! Hakuna Matata! I'm fine. Keep me in here as long as you want, I'll definitely pass! [ A beat, then more quietly. ] I wonder if there's any food in here... This is a really weird looking cave.

[ ooc; Lion cub in the lobby, if you wanna run into him! Dictated as well. It's not like he can open doors... ]

[Well.... this is... interesting. What sort of cat was this? He blinks at the talking cat, perhaps not as disturbed as a lot of people considering his horse could talk, in a manner, and he had met a pony who could too.]

This is not a cave, little one. It is a castle.

A castle is a place people live. It is made of stone.

[He raps on the nearby stones with his numbles, still wrapped in his gloves.]

You are currently in the lobby, a sort of receiving area for guests.

No, I suppose you are not a guest now, you must be a new resident.

You can leave. There is a town nearby, but as for you real home? No amount of running will get you there, I am afraid.

I do not belong here either, but I am here. None of us are here because we want to be.

And as I said, you cannot 'get out' in the way that you mean. I can let you outside, if you want, but as I said there is really no place to go but town.

[He nodded, pointing back the way he had come.]

A collection of homes and businesses where people live.

They do, and some live in the town.

[identity profile] peacockherald.livejournal.com 2012-01-04 02:20 am (UTC)(link)
Well... I'm sure not all... the other cats live with you right? Some live other places?

I see. How interesting. It sounds like a small nation or a clan...

Well, towns are like that, but without a King.
