[it's a Japanese tradition to send out cards to be received on January 1st and well... normally Adachi doesn't even have anyone to bother sending them too. But... well...

So a handful of residents are going to find this when they get to their doors this morning:

To anyone he got presents for, they're in front of your door with the cards on top. Ghost delivery sure is faster than postal services!]

(ooc: sorry if the Japanese reads a little too formally for Adachi/is too sloppy/not sloppy enough to be IC/incorrect/weird or w/e i really wanted to practice my hiragana which Adachi writes almost solely in ; v ; I used this website to help me write it. The English part is not a direct translation so it can sound more natural.)

How are the hangovers doing? I hope you all enjoyed making jackasses out of yourselves last night. I feel bad for the folks the castle tricked, yeesh.

Is that really how Westerners celebrate New Year's?

(ooc: he's still got a log up for new year's eve if anyone would like to jump in! :3)

Cakes? I can't say that I particularly dislike them, if that's a well enough answer. [part of the endless list of things he gets from fans probably]

[good job adachi, just making the best impressions. aaand --ghost delivery. interesting. Barnaby would go ahead and accept it but hangoverrrr. so instead there's a quiet demand to just set it on the only table in his sad empty room before his attention is back to the journal]

I believe cake is merely a universal welcomed gift, but thank you Adachi. I'm afraid I haven't regained my appetite due to last night but it will be put to good use eventually.
