Mission Seventeen
[forward-dated to a more reasonable hour; A teenage girl is seen walking through the streets of Paris. She is dressed in a dark suit with a coat over it, and is carrying a cello case across her back. She only looks thirteen or fourteen, but is unaccompanied.
When she comes to an open area the girl takes out the cello and sets up to play. She doesn't choose Christmas carols as expected but instead goes for something different. The case is left open by her side in case anyone feels like donating money]
[ooc: open post to those who might be wandering the streets or over the journal]

[her eyes drift down to her cello case. It looks strange empty like that. It should be holding something, but not a cello. Something else belongs there...]
I had a dream about a library. There were creatures trying to hurt people. I protected them with a special gun. And Claes... Claes was telling me to tear her apart.
/saved this icon just for this sort of thing
Yeah. That ... that's what happened. Only Claes wasn't really there. You were just seeing her. The way I was only seeing Robin. She ... she was telling me the same thing.
[he shudders] You saved my life, though. ... More than once.

Barney! I remember Paradisa.

- but instead he ends up coming at her and wrapping his arms around her in a giant hug. he can hope that no one saw him, later. right now, he's just conflicted. he's SO GLAD she remembers him, but --]
I'm sorry you have to remember all of that.

It isn't your fault. And anyway, there are worse things to remember.

So ... wait. How come you were acting like you lived here, until just now? What was that all about?
no subject
I do live here on Earth, and I do speak French fluenty. The rest isn't true. You just reminded me.

You ... I'm not losing my mind, you did get sent home, right?

I must have. When I was in Paradisa, Angelica was in the hospital. But now she's okay...

That's so weird. But ... you came back here instead? This place is getting its wires crossed. I wonder if we're gonna have to knock it down again.
[oh yeah you missed that. he's probably gonna spend the rest of his vacation filling you in, at this rate]

Would you like to hear some Christmas music?

But a coffee would be all right, after I check in with Victor. He likes to know where I am.

[he whips out his iPhone] Siri, find the number for Victor Hilshire.
