036. Hots On for Nowhere

[Backdated to a reasonable hour on Christmas Eve!

Brock is running around downtown Paris like an idiot, peering into shops to see which ones are closed. He rushes inside the ones that are open, but always leaves quickly after discerning they don't have exactly what he wants.

He usually isn't That Guy that shops on Christmas Eve, you see. Usually. It's just that, well, the present he'd had wrapped up for his really terrifying and violent fiancee happened to not come with them from the castle to Paris, and he wasn't really looking forward to getting stabbed in the leg for supposedly shirking gift-giving, so ... he was in a bit of a bind.

The journal may pick up the sounds of him swearing quietly under his breath as he continues looking for a gift.

Oh, L.A., huh? My girlfriend lives there. Well, lived. Before the castle, I mean. [this is getting confusing!!!]

I lived in Colorado, so I'm kind of used to more snow than this.

So you probably were okay with all the snow back at the castle. I wasn't a big fan of it.

[nodding] Yeah, I'm used to it. And I grew up in Nebraska, so -- cold weather doesn't bother me that much.

Is it nice in Nebraska? I've never been there.

[She's talking, keeping her attention focused on him, so there's a chance that if a fairy is floating around nearby... she's not going to notice it.]

[smirk] It's boring as hell. I guess it's nice if you're into corn fields and meth labs.

[Brock doesn't notice the fairy (that is definitely floating nearby) either, and he opens his mouth to say something else -- but instead, he just leans down to take both sides of Harmony's face in his hands, kissing her hard.]

[Kissing completely welcome and happily accepted. There's even a soft sound that comes with that hard kiss. Hey, she's usually a vampire. Roughness is fine with her.]

[Roughness in the middle of a crowded Parisian sidewalk on Christmas Eve may have not been the best idea, though -- they keep getting jostled by passersby. Brock doesn't really notice though, too busy biting a little at Harmony's lip.]

[It's possible the jostling is just rubbing her up against him more, but eventually it shifts them down to a small alcove of sorts. It's probably just an entryway to a store that's closed, but it puts them away from the crowd a bit. It's completely welcomed by Harmony as her hands run up his manly chest. He's strapping, which considering most of her exes, is a change. When he nips, she smirks a bit, teasing right back before it's returning to game on and she's reclaiming his mouth with hers.]

[Brock, on the other hand, has made out with all sorts of women in his time, so the only thing he's struck by as he winds his hands around her is that she's really attractive. Incredibly. It's not anything unusual, but it's there.

Regardless, the privacy of their new little alcove is welcomed; Brock presses one hand in the small of her back and then slides it down from there, the other holding her head, fingers tangling in her hair.]

[Support is always welcome and Harmony would return the favor, but he seems like a tank of a man that doesn't need support, so instead she'll just go right for groping. She's a girl who understands about time being short - since she has all the time in the world, she regards everyone else as needing to seize every moment.

This would be Harmony. Seizing the moment.

Also, pressing her hand against the front of his jeans.

That would be seizing something else.

[This is yet another thing that is totally and wholly acceptable! And he responds by tilting his hips toward her hand, helping himself to a little groping action as well as he curls his fingers into her behind.

[Well, those fairies have long since abandoned them, but Harmony is definitely fond of the attention. Also, fond of the squeeze to her backside. She nips at his mouth, rubbing at him through his pants, before moving to return to that kiss after taking a breath.

She does need to breathe.]

[Breathing is important, this is true. And so Brock takes the opportunity to do the same,

though it's also at this point that he also realizes what is actually happening. Annnnnnnnnnd he immediately lets go of her, thought certain parts of his anatomy aren't so easy to disengage.]

[Her nose wrinkles a bit. Not because it was bad, but because it was over.]

Oops. I didn't mean, well... I'm not regretting, but I... with the hand and your... [Her eyes flick down. There.]

Brock just sighs and pinches the bridge of his nose, feeling a headache coming on.] It's ... fine. I'm just kind of ... engaged ... so ...

[Shiiiiiit, he feels like an asshole now. JUST RUBBING AT HIS FACE, at least the thought of Molotov murdering him for allowing himself to get groped is helping with calming the product of said groping.]

[He sighs and lowers his hand from his face, attempting a sort of weak smile.] It's not a big deal. Like ... magic stuff, we couldn't help it. It's alright.
