Oh my gosh, have you guys tried this "school" thing? It's great! A little basic, I guess, but it's like a sampler platter of age-appropriate knowledge. They let me take some books home and everything. Oh - and I found out there's a museum! A real museum of history, with, with exhibits and artifacts and anybody who wants to can go! There is pretty much no chance of me not going to that.

But anyway! It didn't seem like there were a lot of residents attending my school! Apparently they keep track of attendance and they called some of your names. Come on guys! I do not want to have to be the "truancy officer." That's a cop who comes to your house and beats you up if you don't go to school. I guess education is serious business on Earth.

If nothing else, come for lunch. They had this stuff called "liver pâté" and it's really good! Not quite as tasty as fried baleworms I guess, but there isn't much that can compete with that. And tomorrow it says dessert is something called "floating island." Does anybody know what that is? Does it really float? [it's unreal the kind of air this dessert is getting.]

[Sollux, something's knocking on your window. It's the crack of dawn, so he's probably still awake, right? There may or may not be a human girl who looks suspiciously like your moirail perched in the tree outside your window, trying to get in.

And if by some chance he's asleep, she'll just start rattling the window until it opens!]

[He is, in fact, still awake, and still staring at his computer screen. He's been trying to figure out what language he's been accidentally speaking every now and then, and why he can read certain characters. Which eventually lead him to several video streaming sites. Which then lead him to several korean love dramas, which for some reason, despite hating troll romcoms, he's not unironically fallen for. He's about halfway done with the series, 궁, otherwise known as Princess Hours.

He jumps slightly at the sound of sudden knocking at his window, which is right next to his desk.
