21st Death

[going outside today will net you one confused member of the Koriel going full out WTF at the weather. it's cold and he can't help but flinch everytime snow falls on him because Dextera has never been in a situation where something cold didn't hurt him. but so far he's deemed it safe to wander around and try and figure out exactly what was going on.

oddly enough, the strange fireflies wandering around the area don't bother him at all. they're pretty but apparently harmless. so far, anyways....]

[ooc: open for kissing shenanigans, planed or unplaned.]

[She snaps back into the present and sees Dextera standing around and looking up at the sky. A quick look up, and snow lands on her nose.

Nothing weird in the sky. So...what has his attention?
]

Dextera?

The snow? Have you never seen it before?

[identity profile] saccharosium.livejournal.com 2011-12-07 05:55 pm (UTC)(link)
Hm... [give her a moment as she pauses to think...]

Snow is the median between water and ice. It's like ice that has melted down to turn into slush.

[Stocking has already realized this and takes out a small notebook and a pen and offers it to him, not paying much attention to the sugarplum faeries hovering closer to them now.]

[while Dextera is staring at them, Stocking ignores them. why? well, she is going to move in and set a kiss on Dextera's cheek.]

[kajdfg STUPID FAERIES, as soon as Dextera returns the favor and they're back to their senses, she flicks at the faeries until they've dissipated, before huffing.]

Sorry about that. What did you want to ask me?

[She'll teach you about kisses another time.]

Not really. Icicles are frozen ice sticks.

[identity profile] saccharosium.livejournal.com 2011-12-08 10:55 pm (UTC)(link)
Yep. Certain conditions need to happen for icicles to form. Snow can just happen whenever, really.

[debating...]

You know, I'm not sure.

[identity profile] saccharosium.livejournal.com 2011-12-10 03:44 am (UTC)(link)
Maybe inside, sure. I don't think it'd work out here.

I would be pretty surprised if the castle gave us snow.

Objects are different from something nature-controlled.
