[It's not been a super fun week for Fenris, not that this is anything usual. Fenris' entire LIFE is never super fun. He'd been enjoying cave exploring with Hawke, up until his loss had dragged him back. He'd tried to find her again, of course, but only to be brought back to the castle again before he could do so.

It can not be stated enough how much he really, really hates his loss. And now it's snowing, which he isn't a big fan of. Tevinter is tropical, and even Kirkwall isn't all that cold. He's almost regretting his lack of shoes now, as he stands by the main doors of the castle, glaring at the snow like it insulted his mother. His journal his nearby to record his distaste ]

I have never seen such a heavy snow before. Does it get worse than this? I do not relish being trapped inside the castle for months on end. [Because that's what happens with heavy snow, right?]

I have, I am unsure if to be annoyed or grateful of the fact.

It is our midwinter holiday, a time of feasting and gift-giving.

It sounds fairly similar. You might as well just enjoy for what it is, Fenris, because all this isn't going to go away tomorrow.

Oh, but now he's staring. Hi there, Felix]

[He's closing the gap, pressing Felix close to the wall, before capturing his lips in a biting kiss]

[Biting is...good. Very good.

He responds enthusiastically to that, letting out a soft growl of approval as he more or less grabs Fenris by the waist and pulls him closer. Why so short, elf? He's going to get a neck-ache ]

[It's not his fault, he needs a step okay?

Fenris seems to not mind the rough treatment, in fact he responds in kind, pushing Felix up against the wall, nipping at his lower lip as he kisses him, the lyrium markings beginning to glow]

[Yeah, ok, the armor kind of hurts, but whatever...

He kisses back...hard. Really, you'd think kissing was a competitive sport by the way they were going at it.

The magic baking off Fenris is making him vaguely giddy, too, which probably isn't helping matters. Certainly not hurting, in Felix's current perspective.]

[Fenris seems pretty cool with that right now, too. He's too focused in that kiss, his hands gripping Felix's arms, cutting off any means of escape]

He'll even be insinuating a leg between the elf's because what is public decency anyway?]

[It's far too overrated, that's what it is. Fenris doesn't seem to be bothered by this at all, his hands travelling up Felix's back and up into his hair]

[He's lets out a slight moan at that. He likes his hair being played with. Bonus points for a careful application of tugging, but this is good too.]

[Fenris is good with tugging. He presses close for a moment, before the fairies flutter off and he steps back, looking incredibly awkward]

[Felix only looks sorry that Fenris stopped, though he stays slumped back against the wall. He shakes his head.]

No reason to apologize.

[It probably doesn't help Fenrix kind of wanted to do that anyway. It adds to his guilty look]

It's the castle. Something it does around this time of year. Makes people kiss each other.

Actually, it apparently has routes in a tradition related to this holiday that involves kissing under mistletoe. It seems the castle has seen fit to alter the tradition each year in order to keep us guessing.

Oh, I don't know, I rather like it. [There's a rather low purr to his voice and a drop in his gaze at that remark]
