[It's not been a super fun week for Fenris, not that this is anything usual. Fenris' entire LIFE is never super fun. He'd been enjoying cave exploring with Hawke, up until his loss had dragged him back. He'd tried to find her again, of course, but only to be brought back to the castle again before he could do so.

It can not be stated enough how much he really, really hates his loss. And now it's snowing, which he isn't a big fan of. Tevinter is tropical, and even Kirkwall isn't all that cold. He's almost regretting his lack of shoes now, as he stands by the main doors of the castle, glaring at the snow like it insulted his mother. His journal his nearby to record his distaste ]

I have never seen such a heavy snow before. Does it get worse than this? I do not relish being trapped inside the castle for months on end. [Because that's what happens with heavy snow, right?]

[Fenris will never get this preparing for snow thing. It's depressing him that he's actually missing Tevinter right now. Or at least, Tevinter's climate]

Nothing that will not pass with the snow.

Ah, not a fan then. [Vivian nods in understanding, taking a moment to glance outside at the falling snow.]

I don't mind the snow so much. I'm used to it.

I am not so lucky. Tevinter is in the most northern part of Thedas, it is always warm, and I have never travelled very far south. Snow is not something I am accustomed to.

Make sense. Who knows? You might get used to it after seeing the snow for a while. [Vivian smiles a little.] I think its pretty.

It has a certain beauty to it, I will admit. Even if it must be miserable to walk in.

A little miserable but I have to make sure that my horse is taken care of.

Responsible of you. [Movement to one side catches his eye. What IS that?]

I like to think so. [She replies before casting a glance around.] You okay, Fenris?

Do you see those? [Pointing at those floaty things. Do they have...wings?]

I do. [There's a nod from her as Vivian looks up at them.] They kind of look like fairies.

[Squitning] Why would there be fairies here?

[He turns to look at her and then...keeps staring. Hey gurl, you're looking fine]

Because it's a magical castle?

[Her eyes meet his and now she's also staring. Well, hello there Fenris~ Don't you look good?]

That...does not seem a good enough reason for them to be...here.

[Why yes, yes he does. He'll be stepping a little closer to her, transfixed]

Do they really..need a reason? They're just here..after all...

[She's not looking away at all right now. Vivian moves forward, almost closing the gap.]

I do not trust this castle not to do something with them.

[He does close the gap between them, leaning in to capture her lips in a kiss]

I'm sure that it won't do anything. You'll see.

[She doesn't pull away or protest his action, pressing into the kiss a little with a soft murmur.]

[His arms circle around her, pulling her as close as he possibly can, steadily deepening the kiss, logical thought abandoning him for a moment]

[She settles against him comfortably, sliding her hands up to cup his cheeks, completely focused on this and nothing else.]

[He'd be quite content to remain there all day, luckily for the both of them the fairies seem to have lost interest and have started flying off]

[After a few moments Vivian pulls away, looking up at him before her eyes widen a little. She drops her hands, a bit flustered.]

Oh, wow. Did that just happen? Because, uh, yeah...

[Fenris steps backwards, looking more than a little confused]

I...uh. Apologise. it was not my intent. I do not know what came over me.

I'm sorry too. I just felt like I wanted to kiss you..somehow..

[She looks faintly embarrassed.] Although saying that, the kiss wasn't bad.

Some foolish magic in this place, no doubt. [Maker he hates this castle, he hates it so much.

And now he looks even more awkward, because what do you say to something like that]

I wouldn't put it past the castle really. [She's thinking right now. What could have done it? Vivian remembered seeing the lights not long before they kissed. Was it to do with them?]

Uh, you're welcome. [So, so awkward.] I apologise if I made you feel uncomfortable with that.
