I am.... interested... in acquiring a staff. Knowing little of crafting wooden objects such as these... ... aid would be..[ Another pause. Wording. ]

I am aware of the inability to wish for objects which have the purpose of causing harm. Is there problems with wishing for living beings - not other humanoids, but... [ Monsters isn't the word he thinks he should use here.

Maybe he'll just trail off and wait to see if anyone has something to say. ]

It is a simple matter, one would use the staff to, search for others or objects nearby with gentle sweeps in front and to the side of you. Keeping it touching the ground as well will inform you of, changes and potential hazards there.

You are correct in that assessment yes. And yes the leaves, and snow if we are to experience it here, can limit it, however it can also aide you while in such conditions.
