[Allen is in the lobby, sitting on the ground near the entrance of the castle. He looks rather strange today, wearing a ridiculous spacey outfit with a bucket of pure silver roses next to him. Working for the Host Club for money can really suck sometimes]

[He keeps glancing at the door, to see if anyone is going to come by, and hoping to any molecule of luck that no one does. At the same time, he seems to be going through a pile of medical encyclopedias that are stacked up next to him. He reads a bit in one, before coming across a term that he doesn't recognize and switching to another one to look up that term - or in the dictionary that is also among the pile.]

Just a couple more hours of this should be good enough, right...?

Thank you. It has been some time since a handsome young man has offered me flowers; I am not sure my husband would approve. [She's teasing, of course, which she hopes the tone and the smile make clear.]

Right now I was just...trying to learn more about something someone said and uh...it led to me needing to look up other things as well.

[Peering at the texts.] Medicine. I am something of a healer myself, though the terms used in these texts are strange to me. [modern medical terms are confusing...]

[he nods] They're from twentieth-first century Earth...I imagine they'd be confusing to anyone who is not a doctor from that place and time.

We have no real term for it in my world; it is enough to say simply "an elven healer." Among other things, I am skilled in the use of herbs and what some have called elven grace, for lack of a better term. Indeed, I had been in the process of healing a dear friend when I was brought here.

You misunderstand. I suppose "healing magic" is as close as I am like to get in the common tongue, though I dislike the term; I never know quite what Men mean when they speak of magic, for they use the word so freely and for things of such different natures.
