[A grunt of pain and a hiss can be heard as Naruto opens his journal. He returned from the expedition a little worse for wear, cracked ribs and all. Since getting out of the Dead Zone he's been able to heal a little using Kyuubi's chakra, but not nearly enough.]

Are all the expeditions supposed to be like that? I mean, if was fun...parts of it at least. Getting separated and crashing the train weren't that great, but helping to fix up the train was. [Even though he only carried parts.]

I hope everyone made it back in one piece.

Are they usually so...eventful? It seems like everyone had a different experience after we were split up.

Most of the times! There's a lot of land, I think even if we stayed out there for years, we would still be able to find new things.

The only bad part is that we're cut off from our powers there. That makes exploring harder for some.

It does! Although it's also a good thing too, in a way, it makes everyone go out together as a group.

Why wouldn't they do that anyways? A bigger group gets more done.
