[Galadriel (or Artanis, as she now thinks of herself) suddenly found herself in a room that was totally unfamiliar to her. What’s even stranger is that she had no memory of how she got there. She finds the journal fairly quickly and flips through it, but it does little to assuage her fears.

When she dictates, it’s not the calm, practiced dictation of Galadriel (although there are hints of it in there), but rather the voice of a frightened young girl, trying to sound far more intimidating than she is capable of being.]

I know not who brought me here, nor why, but know that my father and my brothers will not stand for this. I am Artanis, daughter of the High King Finarfin. If you release me immediately, they may be persuaded to show you mercy.

[With that she tucks the journal under her arm and sets out to explore, first the room she arrived in, and then the castle. Unlike on her initial exploration, however, her movements are slightly hesitant, timid, and more obviously marked by fear. ]

[ooc: She will be running into Rin in their shared room, I believe, but after that will be roaming the castle. Feel free to encounter the mini-elf or to answer her over the journal.]

[At least Helen doesn't have quite so much to explain away.] Perhaps, but I dislike it when I am treated as child. I know much that even my elders cannot and I am not overburdened; why do they not trust me with their knowledge?

[ Except the secrets of yours that she knows ] I doubt that it is meant in such a way. As you said, you know much that your elders cannot, perhaps in this there are simply things not meant for your knowledge? [ At least not yet ]

Very good, thank you. [Surprisingly, a lot of Middle-Earth produce is similar to regular Earth produce, so it doesn't strike her as odd at all.]

Oh, yes. Lord Fëanor, my uncle, invented Tengwar, the script with which we write, and our family has seen to it that much knowledge and lore has been recorded. [Even now, the tone she uses when she speaks of Fëanor is strangely distant, lacking her usual warmth.]

[ She should have expected that - the recording knowledge part ] Then there's much in the library that you will no doubt find interesting. [ Perhaps taking her there next was a bad idea, she may never get her out ]

[She thinks nothing of it; it seems like a normal question to ask a kid.] Reading, of course, and music. And I have won many competitions of speed and strength. [Yep, she's an athlete. And a little bit cocky about it, too.]

Oh, many kinds. Archery, swordcraft, aught to which my brothers may challenge me. [...Take this with a grain of salt. She is the youngest and, therefor, the smallest. She doesn't win everything.]
