[Eleven's voice sounds a little pained as he dictates]

I apologize for my absence this past week or so. I've been a bit... distracted. I'm afraid I've been a bit, well, ill for lack of a better te-eerm! [The last word turns into a cry of pain. There's a thud as the journal hits the floor and he grabs hold of the console to keep from falling over. After a moment he picks the journal up again and sighs heavily.]

Since it's not showing any signs of going away any time soon I'm forced to concede that this may be another of the castle's ploys... though to what end is completely beyond me. If anyone needs me I'll be in my TARDIS

If you have a moment, would you mind coming over here? This is very... disconcerting. I wouldn't mind a second opinion, as it were.

((ooc: Finally, the much delayed canonbump!! He'll be suffering from regeneration sickness for the next week or so (As well as rapidly aging over a century... not that it'll show or anything.) Open over the journal or in the TARDIS if you're so inclined.))

[The pain's subsided for the moment, leaving behind nothing but confusion, frustration and more questions. WTH castle?! He lays a hand across his eyes as he thinks]

[He sighs, another wisp of energy floating up and away.]

I don't... [another sigh] Oh, what's the point. If this is the castle then nothing I could do could make this any easier.

[He drops his hand away from his face his eyes remaining closed]

[River smooths her hand over his shoulder for a few minutes before nodding and leaving to make him some tea elsewhere in the TARDIS. She comes back as full twenty minutes later with a hot cup of tea. She hands it over to him, just the way he likes it, strangely enough

You're having glimpses at your future, so I think the castle is trying to 'update' you somehow.

[He takes a sip, making an approving noise. Mmmm delicious tea.]

That doesn't make any sense... all the other times this has happened I've been unconscious. Why the difference?

I don't know. Helen wasn't completely unconscious when she went through her last. Maybe the castle is changing the game up a little?
