[Eleven's voice sounds a little pained as he dictates]

I apologize for my absence this past week or so. I've been a bit... distracted. I'm afraid I've been a bit, well, ill for lack of a better te-eerm! [The last word turns into a cry of pain. There's a thud as the journal hits the floor and he grabs hold of the console to keep from falling over. After a moment he picks the journal up again and sighs heavily.]

Since it's not showing any signs of going away any time soon I'm forced to concede that this may be another of the castle's ploys... though to what end is completely beyond me. If anyone needs me I'll be in my TARDIS

If you have a moment, would you mind coming over here? This is very... disconcerting. I wouldn't mind a second opinion, as it were.

[Raises an eyebrow] He's the last person I saw before coming here.

[Jack snorts, smirking at him] That seemed a little out of character for you. Not that I'm complaining.

Wait, why are you asking about Alonso?

I may not remember exactly what caused the regeneration, but I do remember this: The last time I regenerated I went back to look in on each and every one of you. Consider that a parting gift.
