40 years late

[Eleven's voice sounds a little pained as he dictates]

I apologize for my absence this past week or so. I've been a bit... distracted. I'm afraid I've been a bit, well, ill for lack of a better te-eerm! [The last word turns into a cry of pain. There's a thud as the journal hits the floor and he grabs hold of the console to keep from falling over. After a moment he picks the journal up again and sighs heavily.]

Since it's not showing any signs of going away any time soon I'm forced to concede that this may be another of the castle's ploys... though to what end is completely beyond me. If anyone needs me I'll be in my TARDIS

[Lakare]

If you have a moment, would you mind coming over here? This is very... disconcerting. I wouldn't mind a second opinion, as it were.

[/Lakare]

((ooc: Finally, the much delayed canonbump!! He'll be suffering from regeneration sickness for the next week or so (As well as rapidly aging over a century... not that it'll show or anything.) Open over the journal or in the TARDIS if you're so inclined.))

What on Earth happened? [he peers at the screwdriver. it takes a second for him to get used to the new settings and displays ... but -]

Your age won't stay put. It's all over the place.

snerk, keywords.

Your age. [he points to the screwdriver insistently, then holds it out so he can see. it looks something like the clocks in cartoons with time travel - all over the freaking place]

....It's like ... time itself can't decide how old you are. [a flash of realization hits him, and his eyes widen as he lifts his head to look at, well, himself] .... Or when you are...!

Yes ... it'll go forward, then back ... but never back past the age you're supposed to be right now ...

I suppose it could be possible ... just because we've never heard of it happening ...
