Um... Cole is back. He's back and he doesn't remember me at all... I'm not really sure how I feel about this, yet. The last time he was here he didn't seem to remember how he'd felt about me. Maybe it's for the best, but it's still a weird feeling.

[Phoebe's decided to spend the day perusing the library. She's already found a copy of her book, as strange as that is, and has decided a romance novel might be just the thing to cure the strange feelings that have cropped up from Cole's reappearance. So she's curled up in a comfy chair with a copy of Dusk. She's a few chapters in and making a very confused face at the book]

They sparkle?! That doesn't make any sense whatsoever. Do people actually like these books or is it supposed to be some sort of parody or something...

Yeah... except, according to myth, Vampires are destroyed by sunlight.

Oh, I've never met a vampire... That would be sad if they weren't able to see the sun.

I haven't, either. At least, not that I know of. I guess there could be some, here.

But, yeah, if you go by the traditional myth vampires burst into flames if they go out in the sun. That's one of the few things that kills them. I guess there could be some vampires who can't be killed by it, but it's just ridiculous for them to sparkle.

Depending on what myth... or movie for that matter... you go by, vampires can be very charming.

It's like... if you put on a scene in front of a room full of people they'll all describe it differently. People always have different interpretations.
