Honestly, it's kind of like a ghost town around here most of the time. With the lanterns and everything, though ... it's really beautiful.

Hm? [ she rubs some of the water on her shoulder. ] It's okay. It's been kind of quiet lately. Nothing much has happened.

Yeah, same for me, I guess. [dksjhfkj briefly considers bringing up her "fight" with allen, but .... eh, she doesn't really want to upset uru or make her worry] Sakura was running around for a bit dressed up weirdly and acting all ... "villainous".

It was some weird loss, I think. I heard a couple of other people were running around doing strange things too.

Yeah, I think so, now that you mention it. That was why Mark and Nora got arrested ...

Yeah. Mark is -- um. [whoops ... technically people are supposed to know him as harry, but ... she's sure uru won't tell] He's the guy who does those weird "shows" over the journal Monday nights. Nora is his girlfriend.

Yeah. It was just the loss, so once it was over, they were let out.

Things never really stay the same in Paradisa, huh?

No, not really. It's kind of strange, actually, how it evolves ... I know people are reluctant to believe this place has a mind of its own, but ...

That's right! You're one of the oldest residents. I don't remember when I was here the first time. What was Paradisa like originally?

A lot different ...

Well, actually there were a lot more floors in the castle. There weren't as many special rooms, like the seasons room or the movie theater ...

And for a long time there weren't any seasons, either, it was just always warm. We couldn't go very far out past the city. If you kept walking, you'd just end up right back at the front door of the castle.

We stayed in the area. And ... went a little stir-crazy, I guess. We didn't know there was anything at all out there, let alone people or other creatures.

Well, personally, my guess is that they were still out there. There was just a barrier keeping us from going out there to see them.

I'd still like to go on one of the expeditions. I want to see what the world is like beyond the castle and City.
