[The time: just after sunset. The place: a couch in the lobby, because where else does anything happen. For anyone passing by, she is dressed elegantly in a red blouse and sari (which Vivi had to teach her to wear), and her hair is pushed back with a headband.

The sounds of the ballroom casino can be heard faintly in the background as Aradia dictates.]

So is this a holiday, what's going on right now? It wasn't on the calendar. I thought the next one was Halloween. Are we still doing Halloween at all?

... Even the ghosts are all gussied up, but their clothes are totally different from the ones we got. And they still won't talk to me.

I'm not sure about either holiday, myself. We didn't have anything remotely similar in the forest back home. Though I shouldn't be too far off base guessing they're from Earth, right? This place has a penchant for their celebrations.
