[ and this past week has had a... wacky turn of events to say the least. mal's confession about a certain someone has left her feeling somewhat unsure. no, she's not jealous, just mildly irked at the situation. jeez, maybe she should stop thinking about it. and hey, she sort of did by playing her guitar for a while in the music room.

now she sits in the kitchen, waiting for her fish to finish deep frying and strumming her acoustic with her journal opened in front of her. ]

The meteor shower last week, I don't think I've seen anything like that since I've been here. They're probably not very common in Paradisa, hm? Kind of takes away from the setting October has in most modern societies, with Halloween and all the slasher films that come out back home around this time. But a lot of people don't know about other festivals and holidays. For example, like how Celtic Reconstructionists honor the dead on Samhain. They make their loved one's favorite meal and a set a place for them at the dinner table. Many even leave a candle burning to guide the dead home. It's really something.

Paradisa celebrated Día de los Muertos last year, might happen again.

And I'm thinking about putting my afternoons to better use. Would anyone be interested in learning to play a guitar? I can teach both acoustic and electric.

It's okay. She left before I got to know her very well. She was a little weird, but very cool and very nice. Her name was Cyborg. Her parents weren't weirdos, just fyi; she was actually like. A robot.
