[ ☙ACTION❧ ][ Outside of the castle is a fairly large bonfire, the area swept free of leaves so that there weren't any unfortunate accidents. When a leaf does pass through (which happens often), she lifts her right hand. With a bone-chilling wind enough to rival Northrend's own, the leaf will fall to the ground with a loud thud, fully encased in ice. Remaining untouched at her feet is a large pile of sticks bound together with various flowers stuck in between. Also nearby is her journal, open already to a page with PRIVATE written neatly across the top. She's heard tales of these books recording private moments and no one must know how she feels this very eve. ]
No one can seem to deny you anything.
[ Spoken to herself, but the words appear on the page as to be expected. ] If I stare hard enough into the flames, I can see them. Each and every face.. [ With the rise of her hand, the flames before her whirl around to play out the memory with vague humanoid shapes. In the midst of the action is a distinct pair weaving through the crowd, shaking the hands of the other sparks, eventually disappearing around the opposite end of the bonfire from which she sat. ]
Yet, I somehow did. [ Reaching over, she'll flip the page of the journal to start new. That was the point of this holiday, wasn't it? Yet, the branches remain bound and neglected on the ground. How can she purge herself of her burdens? Of him? ]
[ ☙DICTATED❧ ]Hallow's End began today. [ Plainly spoken despite how cheerful she should be for an Azerothian holiday. ] Is there anyone from home that celebrates it here within Cair Paradisa? It would not do my reputation well if I were to skip out on the festivities early.

Astute as always. I, for one, am relieved to know that this castle has not withered your mind in any sort of fashion.
