[guess who's in the kitchen? This little one! There's a plate with a piece of toast on it over on the counter, half eaten... looks like something interrupted her in the middle of breakfast. Said girl in question is currently over next to an empty patch of wall, and she's holding a random box of cereal that she found, and she's using it as a measuring stick of some kind, to mark how tall she is against the wall.

When she's finally satisfied that she's holding it straight, she ducks down and slowly turns around (while being careful not to move the cereal box). There's a moment as she looks at the box, before chewing her lip and sighing. She looks a bit... disappointed? Admitting defeat she puts down the cereal box and heads back to her toast. After a moment she opens the journal]

Um... even if you have birthdays here and get older, you don't get to grow any more, do you?

Well, my hair's grown longer, and I still have to clip my nails. [which is extremely weird since she shouldn't be undergoing many physical changes anymore, Paradisa or no Paradisa] Don't be so quick to come to conclusions.

[secretly resolves to put Nanako against that wall and measure again a few months from now...]

Oh, my hair got longer too. [huh.... so maybe there is hope]

But then, does that mean I won't grow for a long time back home too?

You could be a late bloomer! I know of people back home who suddenly became tall only after they graduated from junior high.

Ah.. then maybe I'll be able to be really tall! Because I had to wait longer?

It's always a possibility. [tries to picture Nanako older...WOW THIS IS HARD] You'd have more time to eat right and stuff.

[she nods] I'll eat lots of vegetables!

Yeah. That's the first step!

And... I should drink milk too, right? [even though she doesn't really care for milk]

Right, but don't overdo it. Too much could give you a stomach upset.

Yeah. Do you not like milk either?

I've...learned the hard way not to drink a lot at one go. [THIS IS EMBARRASSING TO ADMIT, OKAY]

Oh no! Y-You got sick?

Something like that. Not recently. [doesn't everyone? no...?] Aaaanyway, take my word for it.
