Almost four months without seeing or even talking with anyone from home. I don't think I've even gone that long without contact since I arrived in Tortall. Not even the People feel the same, and I think that's what affects me the most. When I went on trips or assignments, they still had that sense of belonging and recognition. Here, it's completely foreign. This is what being displaced feels like.
