What's yer Heaven like?

I mean, I heard someone talkin' about clouds an' angels an' paradise an' one god even though all the people in Heaven are supposed t'be gods. Konzen, Ten-chan an' Ken-nii are gods an' they don't know everythin'.

Are there different Heavens an' different kind o'gods?

Yep! There's a theater here every Friday and Saturday, too. You wanna go see one with me this weekend? [he's thinking something like The Neverending Fable or The Princess Wife]

[It felt weird to not have Konzen around to whack him, so he was automatically correcting himself.]

[The next day, just around six - thank the heavens that Tenpou taught him time - Goku is waiting in his room, trying to contain his excitement and failing badly.]

[and Mark shows up with a Bucket O Popcorn in his arm and a couple bottles of root beer, pretty much on time]

Hey, Goku! You ready to head up?

[Goku shoots off the bed like a very bouncy arrow and hurries over to Mark, grinning.]

I'm ready!

[Looking at the popcorn and stuff, he seems curious.]

What's that?

What, this? [he holds it out] S'popcorn. With extra butter, and snocaps mixed in. Here, try some.

[if Goku looks really close he can see little dark bits in among the fluffy popcorn. movie candy and popcorn were MADE to be thrown together. it is The Rule of Mark]

[Curiously, he takes some in his tiny fist and noms it down. Brightening up, he smiles.]

That's real good! Like crunchy an' salty an' buttery an' sweet at the same time!

Isn'it? [he starts leading the way down the hall] Just be careful, the kernel bits get stuck in your teeth sometimes.

That's okay, it's still awesome!

[He follows along, keeping close to Mark like an awkward duckling.]

[he leads the way up to the theater and cracks open the door, holding it so Goku can go in before him - letting him get the first glimpse of the rows and rows of seats, the screen, the whole enchilada]

Ta-daaaa, welcome to the movies, kid. Go on, pick whatever seat you want, we've got the whole place to ourselves.

[Eyes wide, Goku steps in and looks around. Mouth wide open, he seems awe-struck.]

Whoaa... it's so cool.

[Brightening up in a grin, he hurries off to test different seats.]

[Mark hangs back, letting Goku run around and bounce on the seats. it might not take him long to realize they're all the same, but even so, he'll let him pick where they sit. as the little dude is marveling at modern cinema, he'll call out a cautionary note:]

Just don't sit in the front row, it makes your neck hurt after a while!

[Hopping across seats like the little monkey he is, Goku finally settles in a middle row.]

Here is good, right?

[It's good that they're alone, otherwise the small boy might have needed a booster seat.]

Here's perfect! I always sit in the middle, right on the side so I can stretch my legs out.

[and once they're sitting down, the movie fires up. Princess Bride was his first pick ... and for some reason the castle throws in a few old trailers for Disney movies, too]

[Goku stretches his legs out, but he can't even reach the next row of seats.

Watching the trailers, Goku has a bit of a trouble following the the 'story' until he realizes they didn't have anything to do with the movie. His eyes are huge, though, impressed by the moving things on the screen]
