[So Ice Cream Tuesday was a big success. Meowth stuffed his face and everything was good and now he's curled up on a couch in the lobby with an empty bowl of ice cream in front of him that smells of berries and a good dose of catnip, and considering he's had several bowls of that concoction, it's no wonder he's a little flushed... Don't ask how a cat can be flushed. It's Pokemon. Deal with it.

Life's pretty awesome for him. He's got half the castle against the twerp. He's well-fed. He's got a good place to stay with Kitty. No worries or cares in the world. So why shouldn't he just nap on a couch in an open place where anyone who might have a bone to pick with him or... Want to give him scritches and surprise cuddles as people are want to do with cats, which would be equally irritating, because dude, he's stoned off catnip and sleeping, why you do this.

They were gonna interpret your weaselly Pokemon-catchin' ways all wrong anyways. All's I was doin' was maintainin' my own status quo. Pokemon trainers don't exist here, 'cept for you and that other twerp with the Aipom, so's it's not like you got a lot 'o credibility.

[Naturally, even outside and at a distance, Toothless could pick up on Meowth's cries of pain. And when he does, he immediately stops his wandering and dashes back to the castle, legs pounding against the ground as he goes at a full-out run.

Because Toothless is a dragon and is far too cocky to make a modest entrance, he bursts through the front doors, causing them to swing open and slam against the walls.

(It may also have to do with his distinct lack of opposable thumbs, but shhhh.)

Without thinking twice, he leaps in between Meowth and his aggressor, raising his body and wings and snarling to appear as intimidating as possible.

[Toothless gives a hard snort at Ash, then tilts his head slightly to the side, lifting a head fin in Meowth's direction.

[Oh, so this is the guy that was beating Meowth up? He sees.

Toothless lifts up his forebody, narrowing his eyes, then falls forward violently, giving an earsplitting noise that sounded somewhere between the wail of a siren and the roar of a monster. THAT'LL LEARN YOU TO PICK ON HIS FRIEND.

Except he didn't take into consideration that this might also affect Pikachu, or, more importantly, the very Meowth he was trying to protect. Oops.]

[.....HOW IS HE UNFAZED BY TOOTHLESS.... The nightfury stares in confusion before his head fin lifts up as he catches Meowth's words. Toothless glares at Ash, giving a snort and puffing out a small blue flame, before slipping a wing under Meowth and settling the cat onto his back and bounding away, to outside.

[Meowth holds on tightly, glancing back to cackle in Ash's general direction and stick his tongue out.

Bitches can't handle his swag.

Once outside, he climbs down and gives Toothless a pat on the back.] Thanks. You really saved my tail back there, pal.
