Whoa... what happened to my room?
[Anyone who enters room 518 will find themselves in the middle of a field at night, stars scattered all around, galaxies and constellations forming a breathtaking, one-of-a-kind view. As one would expect of Lloyd Irving's headspace, it is mostly empty! However, there are three figures walking in the distance: a woman with brown hair, a tall man who looks suspiciously like Kratos Aurion, and a toddler sitting atop the man's shoulders. They always seem to stay out of hearing distance, but Lloyd chases after them for a while anyway.]
W-- wait! Stop!
[Just seeing that silhouette against the stars makes his heart lurch.]
Mom... Dad...
[ooc: Feel free to find Lloyd moping in his own headspace, or try to catch up with the family up there. Scattered in the grass are blacksmithing plans and crude drawings of mom, dad, a dwarf, and some kind of green dog. :|b]

[He perks up INSTANTLY!]
Sure! I would like that a lot!

I'm hungry, too. I hope the kitchen's intact. I don't feel like fighting a dragon just to get lunch.
no subject
[then thoughtfully]
I wonder what dragon would taste like....ah, then again that's probably not a very nice question to ask!

[SHUDDER]

[He rubs the back of his neck]
Once on a world change, I ate a velcioraptor after all the food supplies got spoiled.
[Yes. All of it.]
no subject
[Are they really trading weird food stories? REALLY?]
A what? Is that like a bird or something?

Velociraptor? Oh no, it's a dinosaur! Which...is like a big reptile! They used to live on my planet before they went extinct a long time ago.

[a pause]
So what did it taste like?
no subject
Actually...a bit like chicken, if you'd believe it.

[WHY ARE THEY EVEN HAVING THIS CONVERSATION]
Is there anything you've tried in Paradisa that you really like?
no subject
[a thoughtful noise]
A lot of things...I used to eat these things called Hot Pockets here. They weren't in my time period, so I never got a chance to eat them before.

SUDDENLY THEY'RE IN THE KITCHEN.]
I'm going to make some curry. That okay with you?
no subject
[But hey he gets distracted by the mention of food! Even better, food being MADE]
Ah- it's more than okay with me! But are you sure you don't mind cooking?
Ah- yes!

[A ghost wanders into the kitchen. Lloyd trails off and stares sidelong at it.]
I'd rather make things myself. [He pulls out a pan, then starts assembling ingredients. It's shaping up to be some kind of szechuan tofu curry.]
no subject
[He follows Lloyd's glance. He's used to the ghosts at this point and they don't set off his eye, but he can see why it would disturb the new people. ]
Well, I can help if you like! I tend to eat a lot so...
no subject
Me too. I like to have thirds. Sometimes fourths or fifths...
[He stares at the pot he picked, then puts it back and brings out a HUGE one.]
Better.
[He starts with the basis of the sauce.]
Know any good stories?
no subject
You must have a large stomach then.
[He'll try not to break your pride in your appetite size; he starts digging in the fridge for ingredients]
Eh? What sorts of stories do you mean?
no subject
[Meanwhile, he's still mixing up the sauce and divvying the spices.]
I dunno, anything-- whether it's funny or important to you. My friends sometimes told stories while waiting for food to cook.
no subject
[Dumping stuff on the counter! When he has enough, he'll get a knife to start chopping up the vegetables]
I see...hmmm...well did anyone ever tell you about world changes before?
no subject
I heard something about pirates. Why do I always miss the good stuff?
