[well because SOMEONE had to steal a Pokemon last time, the kid in charge of the rest of them had to put up some security measures.
Like a bunch of childish traps.
So uh... have a wet sponge on a rope "lick" you in the face. Or... at least startle Meowth because he's shorter than what Gold anticipated beforehand]
