...and their jailers, Billy & Nikola Tesla.

While their wrists and ankles remain bound sans impaling in a similar fashion to last time their location is vastly improved--they've been granted a ballroom-esque room in which to be chained on the main floor.

He comes up to the mule like he owns it... and hasn't been largely absent during most of the planning. (It takes a lot to get his interest, and there's no time to catch up on details, but the gist is good enough.) He already decided he was inviting himself along, so there's not a lot of choice in it. In fact, he's already standing by the driver's seat with all intentions of taking it.]

[With no further objections, Spike is settling himself in the driver's seat (this will seem like a bad idea in about two minutes. Spike doesn't obey speed limits, so just think of it like... a roller coaster without seatbelts;;). He nods to the straggler.]

No time like the present. [If they actually have a plan, they can talk about it on the way and he'll do his best to listen.]

And you know, despite Kaylee and Maya being in danger, it's been a long time since he's had a chance to do this. He might have to see about outrunning those motorcycles. ...For the sake of Kaylee's reputation.]

[Rather than getting on The Mule, Jono taps his neck, activating his tech and surrounding himself with a slowing blue aura. He rises several feet in the air before calling down to his companions.]

[God, why can't Brock fly? Because he's not a weird mutant or space alien or whatever, that's why. But he ... doesn't want to ride in this thing, watch him continue to eye the mule suspiciously. Oh my god. It's like somebody put hover technology on a pile of scrap metal.

What if he just ... eyes the two women on motorcycles. Would either of them give him a lift or does he have to put his life in the hands of this thing?

Spike shrugs at Brock's sudden betrayal, but he'll assume that it wasn't personal. Most of his friends that had seen him fly might have made the same choice.

Besides, any more waiting around to get organized, and he'd start getting antsy. All it takes is two words from Zoe, and he takes off as hard as the thing will let him. He isn't sure what's going on exactly, but he assumes there's some lost time they need to make up!]
