○ 009 Transmission
[He's missed a lot of things, and he knows it. Didn't have to keep up with whatever was going on in the castle to understand that much - not that he hadn't tried, but being a snow leopard for pretty much half the month of July had proven to be quite the distraction for him.
So when he finally woke up and discovered that he was not, in fact, covered in fur, Rookie gave a grateful sigh before carefully pushing off his bed to get reacquainted with walking around on two legs again - after putting on some clothes first.]
[Friends, and people he's had interactions with during his loss.]
[Some time later, once he decided to get into his armor and make sure that everything was as it should be, the ODST would eventually grab his journal off the floor and place it down on the table nearest him. There's a couple sounds of him fiddling around with his VISR system, given the digital beeps from his helmet, before he takes this moment to start speaking into the open book.]
Hey. [A pause as he absentmindedly rubbed the back of his neck, half-surprised to hear his own voice and not the feline growling he had grown accustomed to. Strange how that worked out.] This is Rookie. For those of you that didn't know, I was a snow leopard for the past three weeks... but I'm happy to report that I'm finally myself again.
[Then silence as he tries to think of what else to say, before he eventually shrugs and moves on to the next filter.]

[UNSC Filter - excluding Meta.]
Thanks for keeping an eye on me, for those of you that did. [He gives a soft, friendly chuckle.] Just hope I wasn't too much trouble.

You've mentioned him before, I think. [] He someone from your world or just a castle resident?

[Blink blink.]

[] But I should have expected as much.

[Dude, now you're just confusing her.]

No, no, that's not what I meant to imply, Kallen. [] Just saying. You've been here long enough to run into plenty of people here, so I just meant that I'm not surprised.
[]

What did you think I thought you were implying?!

[]
What I meant is that it's good that you have a boyfriend here. That's all.

[MOVING ON!]

So, how do these things work?

Oh. Like this?
[]

That's the Guren.

You pilot it like a motorcycle?

[She taps the orange part on the model's back.] The cockpit's right there for emergency ejection if needed.

Makes me wish I had one. [] They seem like they'd be pretty useful.

[She grabs the book in front of him and flips to a page before showing him a two (http://www.mahq.net/mecha/codegeass/geass-tv/lineart/rpi-13-cockpit.jpg) pictures (http://www.mahq.net/mecha/codegeass/geass-tv/lineart/rpi-13-hatch.jpg).] That's the cockpit of a Sutherland.

... Kind of like yours better, but I suppose that model would be a lot easier on a person's back. [] Are they only used for fighting?

So instead of doing all the work yourselves, you make the old robot do it? [] Seems like that just takes the fun out of it.

But I was referring to the other stuff that goes into making a pizza.
