Both Suoh Tamaki and Ootori Kyouya have left again. I don't think it's an event this time. For those friends of theirs I've never met, I am Fujioka Haruhi. It's a pleasure to meet you.

[Haruhi's voice is composed but hollow.]

[Haruhi will just be showing up at your respective doors during the day, a tray of breakfast for Kasanoda and lunch for Hunny -- she wouldn't dare try to wake him up, even under the circumstances. :T]

[It's still jarring to have him so tall -- doubly so, now that his lean frame and blond hair remind her of Tamaki more than anything, but she returns the hug with a soothing intensity. She's calmed down a little by now.]

Me, either, senpai. Are you hungry?

Yeah, a little.

[He's always ready to eat, even in times of utter despair. But it's with a noted lack of enthusiasm that he steps back into his room.]

[Haruhi has catered the lunch tray to suit Hunny's tastes. Fruits, cream, pastries and cheese breads -- it's a much sweeter, fancier sort of meal than she usually likes, but she's not the only one hurting right now.]

[He motions over to a little table by the window. His room is large and cushy, with a considerable collection of stuffed animals perched on the various surfaces.]

Have you talked to Bossa Nova yet?

[Haruhi nods, laying out the tray for them both and taking a seat. Almost absently, she plucks one of the stuffed animals from where it sits, tucking it into her lap.]

Yeah, this morning. He's okay.

That's good. They were here together for so long, he must be really lonely now.

[Taking slow little bites of lunch. The sadness has not fully hit him yet. Later there will probably be tears, but right now there's just a lot of figuring things out.]

[A few moments of quiet, followed by a tiny sniffle.]

It's weird to think that even though we're from the same place, I wasn't friends with Bossa Nova until we came here. We might not even know each other when we go back home!

Even if you don't -- you'll meet him again. I remember Kasanoda-kun from home, senpai.. he's a good guy. All of us like him, even there.

Ah.. [She isn't sure how much she should divulge.] Tamaki-senpai decides to make him less scary. [She's just going to leave the parts involving Mori out of the story.]

Mm, he didn't. But I think he was afraid people wouldn't like him if he didn't try to change.

That was silly of him... but I understand. I'm glad he didn't change, though. He's fun the way he is!

[Starting to actually cheer up. He's eating a bit more enthusiastically now.]
