[After waking up in a strange room with no sign of his daughter Jenny, Apollo decided to explore the room to see if he can find any hints of where he is. It doesn't take long for him to discover the journal and flip through it curiously. While flipping through he picks up fragments like 'castle' and 'Paradisa'. It seemed to be the only way of contacting people in the room. Now wasn't the time to be shy. He had his daughter to find.]
Hi. I don’t really know how you’re supposed to start writing these things. Never been the journal writing kind of guy unless you count that Dear Abby letter I wrote one time as a joke. Well, Midnighter thought it was a joke but that’s a whole other story. The bottom line here is I’m looking for my daughter. She’s got long brown hair and brown eyes. She’s eight but she acts like she’s going on thirty. Anyone seen her?
And Jenny, if you’re reading this respond ASAP and tell me where you are. I don’t know what’s going on but I plan to find out.
[That said he closed the journal and carried it with him when he left the room. He wasn't going to get answer any quicker by just sitting around.]
[ooc: Open to any part of the castle you want to find him wandering around.]

I'm Haruno Sakura, and welcome to Paradisa, such as it is. Apollo? As in the god, or as in named after the god?
written;
Nice to meet you Sakura. I'm named after the god. Though some people might consider me a god. But I'm not the god.

Then you have people like me, who've been here five times before. This is my fifth time in Paradisa, if I don't remember the other four. The journal does -- anything recorded in journal by me I can still read, just like things filtered to me, or anyone named Sakura if there's not a further distinction.

You could say we're longstanding rivals, after a fashion.
written;
Ah rivalry. I kind of know what that's like. Not that I have one of my own but I've seen it. Been in the middle of it.
written;
I've been in the middle of more serious ones, personally, but ours is a longstanding kind of thing. There's not a lot I wouldn't do to make sure she stays safe.
[ ... DOING RIVALRY RIGHT 8D ]

Sounds like you have a good natured rivalry though. I've only seen the ones where punches are thrown as a greeting.
written;
The throwing punches ones tend to be more of a male thing in my experience.
written;
I suppose it is. Some men like any excuse to throw their weight around. It's not always attractive.
Re: written;
It's usually not attractive. People getting injured to prove a point that doesn't exist in the first place just feels stupid.
written;
You're right about that. But sometimes just because we don't see the point doesn't mean there isn't one.
written;
I know. But it does tend to mean I still don't see the point.
written;
It tends to be easier to just stay out of the rivalry all together.

Something I wish people I knew back home could do, but since they couldn't, I really couldn't either. Until recently. It's hard accepting that you have to back down and let someone else handle things on their own.
written;
It is hard. Believe me, I know a bit about how you feel. But you can't expect people to rely on others all the time. Sometimes they need to sort themselves out.
written;
[ the huge irony to her being that she's the one always relying on others; she's never been able to (in her mind) be replied upon. ]
It'd be nice if there was someone around who they could rely on at least some of the time.
