[Patrol always ends in the very early hours of the morning. Usually this is the time where Jason catches some sleep, but not always. This morning is one of those 'not always' days. Sleepless nights are something Jason has grown accustomed to. That was probably a bad thing, but his nightmares make sleeping a whole lot less appealing and that's what you have powers naps for.

So, after coming back from patrol and changing into more comfortable clothing, Jason is wandering around the castle during the ungodly hours. Any other early birds or sleepless folks might come across him.

Once it's a more reasonable hour, he takes out his journal and makes the following filter:]

[ likewise for kate. after patrol, digging around some places and interrogating some shady people in the red light district, kate's returned to the castle and found herself more awake than ever this morning. sleep is godly but she's not feeling it right now. she eventually wanders out of her own room, dressed in a loose camisole and shorts. barely anyone's up at this hour, so she can make do in the kitchen and eventually try to sleep.

so it does come as a bit of a surprise when she spots a teenager wandering the halls as she heads down. ]

[Jason looks up when he notices movement nearby to find that he's not the only one up and about at this hour. He's a bit surprised as well, but not too terribly. It's likely some other residents are up too, he just didn't expect to run into them.

Also, since this isn't Gotham, you can be civil without someone looking weird at you or even taking offence.]

[ she blinks and gives a little nod. that voice is... ]

'Morning. [ so this is jason, huh. ] Pretty early for a kid, don't you think?
