It has been long since last we spoke. How have you fared?
[Felix]
You need not answer me if it will be difficult for you. However, it would put my heart at ease to hear how you have fared since last we met.
[Deathwing]
[There is a small bouquet of roses outside your door, delivered via castle ghost-no note or anything. Do with them as you will; she has made her point. And yes, she's perfectly aware that your room was invaded recently; it's why she figures you'll be keeping an eye on it.]
[One of the few benefits of this place was the borrowed time with her granddaughter. So, it should be no surprise that Galadriel once again finds herself wandering up to Arwen's room. When she gets there, however, she is met by a blank name plate.
She just stares for a moment, waves of emotion washing over her- sorrow, relief, anxiety about what Arwen will face in their own world. Eventually, she opens the journal and dictates in a voice devoid of sentiment; whatever she's feeling, she's not about to broadcast it to the entire castle.]
The Lady Arwen Undómiel has been returned to her home. [There's a long pause] It is for the best. I would like to personally extend my gratitude to all who showed her hospitality and kindness while she was here. I cannot thank you enough for making her stay a little less trying.
[And now you can find her under Alexstrasza's tree, brooding thinking. Bother her if you want, but she's feeling a little melancholy.]

I have but one child- a daughter. Her name is Celebrían and she is gentle and fair, [A light smile] but not without the strong will of her mother.
welp how do i html
Ohhh, what a pretty name. Celebrían... sounds kind of like 'celebration'! [ ha, she kind of rolls the r in both words ] Like... a celebration of being alive or something.
Elvish names are so cool.
I do that all the time
I am glad you think so. The name itself means "silver queen" and was chosen in part for its resemblance to that of her father, Celeborn.
<3 ;;
Ohhh... is there like, an Elvish baby name book? Where you can go and look up names when you're pregnant? I like to look up names online and see what they mean. If I ever have a daughter, I think I want to name her Mackenzie. Or Krystal. [ her favourite fake name :'( ]

I have not seen such a thing, but I would not be startled to find that a collection has been made, perhaps in the libraries at Rivendell. The meaning of many Elvish names are readily apparent to those of our kind, for most have their roots in Sindarian, the language we most commonly speak amongst ourselves.
Those names are strange to my ears, but seem fair. However, I must ask..."online?"
[Someday she will be able to have a conversation with someone without asking about technology. Someday...]

I wouldn't be surprised either. My sister once said that if you can imagine it, there's always someone who collects it. I'm sure someone collects cool Elvish names to put into a book. [ she nods at the language part. she thinks she gets it ]
Oh! [ she rubs her hands together. this is something she loves, so she's happy to explain ] To go online means to go on the internet. The internet is the coolest thing ever!! It's like... [ uhhhhm. hmmm. there's a pause as she tries to find something to compare it to. she looks up... aha! ]
It's like a really really big vine. All of the leaves are like, computers... which are... oh, gosh, really smart machines, I guess. When you go on the internet, all the leaves are connected by the vine. And there's all sorts of stuff on the internet. Information, games, videos...
[ she pauses, wondering if her explanation is crap ]

The "internet" connects these machines, then? And allows information to be shared amongst them? Is that your meaning?
[The way she says "internet," it sounds like she's speaking a foreign language. Heh.]

Yeah...! Haha, I think you actually just said what I was trying to say. Without all my blahblahblah, heh. But, yep! If I have a computer, and you have a computer, and if we both log on to the internet, we can talk, and share info and lots of other stuff. The internet is huuuuge; it's all over the world. So if like, you had friend in the Undying Lands, and you were home in your tree place, you could talk to them!

Lórien. My "tree place" is called Lórien.

[ her stomach grumbles a little bit, and she looks up, eyeing the sun ]
Hmm... I should probably head back now.

[ and then there's a brief, slightly awkward pause, as she's wondering whether or not to whip out the wings as well :x ]
