[ Today, Emil is sitting in the lobby, back to his normal self and looking pretty happy about it. He also seems to be attempting to play paddleball, which is probably not all that easy when you can't see what you're doing. Anyone walking close by better be careful. The journal beside him also picks up the sound of him playing. ]

I'm really glad that's over. I like it here, but it's a lot easier when I look like myself. But I hope I didn't scare anyone too much...

[ A short pause, like he's trying to remember something. ]

Oh, that's right! I was going to ask earlier, but I kept forgetting. The castle only celebrates some holidays here, but I don't know about that many of them from other places or anything like that. And I never really celebrated any before I got here...so if anyone has the time, could you tell me about the ones you like best?

[Marian pats her knee and Wheely jumps up on it. She sniffs in Emil's direction.]

This is my dog Wheely, she's very sweet. Would you like to pet her?

[Marian is prepared to take his hand if he needs directions, but she notices that his head turns directly toward any sounds, so he seems to have a fantastic grasp of his surroundings.]

[ He reaches out, a bit slowly and carefully, to pet the dog; he's gotten very good at listening to find things, but he still does have to be more careful than most others. ]

[Emil reaches just behind Wheely's ear and she stretches to meat his hand, sighing a contented dog sigh.]

[Wheely's glad to, she wants to walk over to Emil's knee, but Marian holds her back a little, just allowing the dog to press her head lightly against Emil's chest.]

[The ball rolls over the lobby floor and Wheely jumps down with a bark, chasing it and fetching it with a playful growl. She runs directly back to Emil and nudges his hand with her snout, ball still in hand.]

Ah... The ball might be a bit soggy now. Sorry about that!

Yes, I bet that most of them likes to play fetch.

[Watching this playful interaction makes her happy. Emil throws carefully and Wheely looks like she's dancing with joy when she runs to fetch it.]

She'd probably eat anything, if I let her. But I'll make sure to give her food fitting for a dog. There was a store in town that was very helpful.
