[It was slightly laughable that Jo had made plans to pick up her dog over the weekend and then... the weekend turned into crazy comic book castle. There was also the one extra person staying with her. She thought he would've filtered to her -- bitched about how thought bubbles didn't mean she couldn't come get her dog. She even heard him trying to start up something with that vampire hunter last night, but there wasn't anything filtered to her. Rather than over think it, she just headed to their room before her shift at the Lux. She was smiling and near laughter when she walked into the room, but when she saw that it was just her room and that the dog was sitting in the middle of it, whining a bit, all of that faded.]
C'mere. [She crouches low and beckons the dog toward her as she pulls out her journal] It's okay.
[Jo lets her fingers scratch to the dog's ear as she tries not to get too upset. She mostly mumbles to herself:]
Who does he think he is? Leaving twice now. If he thinks -- [she stops herself when she sees Max's entry about Ben. She'll talk to her once she gets to work. When she reaches an empty page, she starts to dictate:]
Chase... [she shakes her head] Robert Chase's gone, too. Gone home, I mean. If he was supposed to be in the clinic today, someone might want to go cover his shift.
[she takes a soft inhale of air and then closes the journal against her finger, holding the book open in case someone talks to her while she walks toward the Lux. She'll be there most of the day, with the dog, if anyone wants to drop by.]

Well, I've been here a while, but it's been a long time since I've given someone a tour of the city. If you're ever interested - just let me know.
I work at the Lux, too. So usually if you can't find me there, just filter to me.

You got a moment to spare now?

[She appreciates it, though.]
Maybe sometime next week?
[ooc: I'm trying to wrap up old back-threads, otherwise I would've had her meet him after her shift - but I have so many old threads that I want to actually close out. Let's plan for something post-vampire stuff, because pretty soon the Lux will get destroyed. >.> so she won't have work!]

Sometime next week. Sure.
((No problem! I can understand your reasoning. Mostly I did it because it felt IC. :P)))

[ooc: Totally! I just didn't want you to think I was trying to end it short or something. :D We'll have them hang out soon!]

((It's all cool. <33 Definitely.))
