[In the hall just outside room 1112, there are two stems of pink bellflowers in a rather plain glass vase. There is a card attached, with a short message in a flowing and somewhat old-looking script.]
[Leroy.]
[She'll pause after penning the filter, taking a moment to reflect on the last time she'd spoken to this person.
Ah. It really had been quite awhile, hadn't it? For a brief moment, she considers dismissing the idea altogether. But then again, she was a Windrunner, and she stayed true to her word above all else.
Dictated!] Leroy. I believe I still owe you a meal.
[/filter]
[These deeds done, Alleria can be found out on the grounds, bow slung across her back, sword at her hip. She needed a small break from hovering over Vereesa. The time spent with her sisters at Mineas Well had been overdue and greatly appreciated, but she was wary -- how much had changed while she was absent? What dangers lurked here that weren't there before?
Apart from the shiny new big evil dragon, of course.]
[ooc. open in personnnnn]
Ino.
Your assistance in our assault on Arthas was to our benefit.
I realize this may be considered overdue, but I assure you I am being genuine in my thanks.
I hope I may continue to consider you an ally in future endeavors.
- Alleria
[Leroy.]

[ Ouch. Low blow to Sylvanas there. A short cackle escapes him as she scouts in vain... or at least appears to. ]
Scared? Me? You presume much for such a puny creature.
no subject
As I hear it, Arthas is now dead on Azeroth. I wonder who wound up with the upper hand in that situation, hm?
[And still creeping completely innocuously in the wrong direction, doo dee doo ...]
I am not the one hiding in the shadows making pitiful displays of aggression.
no subject
[ Come, Alleria, surely you're going to give him more of a challenge than that. ]
And you as well for your most pitiful hunting.
no subject
Eyes narrowed, Alleria turns to the left, swinging her bow with her to point the arrow directly at the incongruity in the branches she'd spotted earlier.]
As you say.
no subject
Mind your temper. We wouldn't want this escalating to outright hostility... unless you wish to wind up like your wayward sister, of course.
[ Even with the bow trained on him, he does not move. Attack at your peril. ]
no subject
[Oh. That's why it was familiar. She keeps the bow trained on the bird, sidestepping carefully, beginning to circle.]
You've nothing better to do with your time than to harass us?
no subject
[ A shrug of feathery wings follows. ]
Whittling down the castle's defenses will take time. Meanwhile, I see no reason why I cannot amuse myself as I see fit.
no subject
no subject
[ Deathwing grins to reveal a beak full of unnatural teeth. ]
If you so long for this world's destruction, and thus your own end, I implore you, be patient.
no subject
Don't get ahead of yourself. [Her tone is cold and dismissive, as if she were reprimanding a child for thinking it knew more than it really did.]
This world is not Azeroth. It -- as well as the people it sees fit to capture -- are not as malleable as those you are used to. You'll find no allies here to do your bidding. No orcs to swindle.
no subject
[ Yeah, he's good at that creeping thing. ]
no subject
What elf would listen to you?
no subject
[ Touché. ]
no subject
[And then she releases the arrow she's been holding at the ready --
into the branch the bird is perched upon.]
Leave.
no subject
While transforming into his true self in the process, of course. Careful not to get squashed by those claws, Alleria, he's rather large. ]
I wonder if you'll still find it humorous when the others recover your bloody corpse.
[ Not that he's threatening her or anything. ]
no subject
Swearing under her breath, Alleria scrambles out of the way of this big fucking dragon, quickly nocking another arrow as she simultaneously seeks cover in the trees.]
Do you think I fear death, fiend? Perhaps you've forgotten what it is to fight an elf!
[Nonetheless, she's ... totally trying to hide right now.]
no subject
[ Nice try, but Deathwing's eyes are pretty sharp. He can see you trying to dart behind that tree.
Instead of pursuing her, though, he lies down, shutting his eyes and all but making a mockery of her efforts to intimidate him. ]
Engaging me will only end in injury, elf. Your actions are unwise.
no subject
She'll hide behind her tree anyway, peering out at him. Yup, sure is Deathwing. As if there were any doubts.]
And to what do I owe this act of mercy, then. [The sarcasm is practically dripping from her words.]
no subject
[ On the topic of mercy, he hums to himself. ]
Still, you pose a reasonable question. Perhaps I'm gaining a certain fondness for mortals.
[ The dark chuckle that follows suggests anything but. ]
no subject
It must be humbling.
no subject
[ That barbed tail of his is hovering dangerously close to where Alleria is dwelling... ]
I'm more than capable of making do with what I have.
[ Which is more than enough to spear a troublesome elf. ]
no subject
Hm.]
I'm afraid I'll have to take your word for it, fiend.
[And with that, she'll attempt to meld into the shadows to get the hell out of here. Facing off with a huge dragon by herself -- she might be hotheaded, but she's not stupid.]
no subject
Shadowmeld doesn't work in combat, silly. Don't you read your own abilities?]Send my regards to your sisters. I'm sure we'll be meeting again soon.
[ Perhaps sooner than Deathwing himself realizes. ]
